Provided mold works out that is the plan... however each one will be one of a kind & numbered...
Should I hold out till after December to give it another go or do you guys want to see another up ASAP?

Yeah... sorry it would be a lot closer.... but We've actually had freezing temps here & it's just tooooooo cold & I would hate to screw up that much resin.... but yeah, I'm working on that.

In the meantime, I have some painted 4" kinkeshi up & a couple more Mighty Muggs coming up.

No it's better now on the weather.... resin issues. Mold is all prepped and waiting, if I don't get a solid answer on the resin I've been waiting for today I will likely open up the mold & get it ready for another solid casting. I will call today when I get home & see what I can find out.
This one was supposed to be a partial clear cast but the resin was solidified. The manager said he would send me a replacement, then they had distribution problems. I will call and see if he has an answer or a story tonnight. I will let you guys know what he says.

yeah there's an order to things.... and I have a more dust free area for spraying and doing some of the casting I have up next.

I have commissioned work that's going to take some practice to get right because I'm working with all new materials. The work I have ahead has been going since long before any of the other projects I have on the table right now... and most of it has been paid upfront, so I owe it some real focus now that I have everything I need. Also Have commissions for 89cpe & vette that have been on the table for a bit longer than this project.

Now the landlord has to come over and fix a bunch of stuff including the garage door which I will need to be able to open for ventilation to be able to do casting, grinding, spraying & everything else.

But yeah I want it open too... but the kids are waiting for Hero Quest!

Popped it out of the mold after garage got clean enough.... fleshies .... too many.... clumped.... cracked. This puppy has large fissures. I will have to research something to put in there to make it structural... then customize the heck out of it. A lot of work will have to go into making this work on any level. Also have to deal with removing the big fat base... the other material is a lot more forgiving.

This piece might just have to be a mix of opaque sculpting with the clear green showing through... will have to really think on this. Maybe zombie? I don't know.

Guess I have plenty of problem solving time as I get caught up on other projects.

Good thing I make stuff outta crap all the time so this will be a challenge.

Cool... I'm sure I can do something cool... just going to be a few... but like I said I have time to really problem solve it.

I might start a new thread when I have a chance to really go over it & actually make a little headway, just to keep everyone informed.

Keep an eye on the Mortal Kombat figures as a barometer.... they're right in the mix & kind of at the end of some of the commission workflow... technically Sunshine would be ahead of those... but that project turned into a nightmare & is in the problem solve in my head mode for now.

Also pulled a Cthulhu mold tonight that went fairly well... will do some test pulls on that before too long.
