If you put it on Ebay, I would doubt that you get $400 for it. I think it depends on how many high-rollers decide to bid. Alex already has one so he wouldn't bid too high for it, and I don't know many other collectors who would bid even close to $400.

I think you could probably get $200 for it, but that's just a guess. Not many collectors are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for MUSCLEs.

OptimusGeorge, you may find this interesting. Link

It's the AKIA thread discussing the eBay auction of the SHA featured in the PS II magazine.

OptimusGeorge can I ask you a serious question? Is there any chance you got the SHA from Canada? Could you have traded a kid for it or are you 100% your mom bought it from her store? Was Bee Gees (that store your mom worked at) a Canadian chain? Did your family ever go to Canada? Just curious...PA is mighty close to Canada and that is one of the theories about where SHA and the other SR's have originated. Now I will say this...there IS a MATTEL headquarters in Bufflo NY, so maybe, just maybe Mattel dumped all there reamaining stock (last series ones introduced at the end) in NE cities and states at five and dime type stores...What kind of store was the one your mom was the toy manager of?

Thanks,
TGB

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

Gee Bee (GET IT RIGHT GODBEAST!!!) e+ was a department store chain that was a lower level Wal-Mart or Target. I think it was only on the east coast down as far as Georgia up to PA. I don't remember too much about the store's demographics. It was bought out by a store/company called Value City. That's what it is now. ANYHOW... The store, I believe, did buy from "non traditional" vendors. Their overall price on items was a bit cheaper. Not too much mind you... and their toys were priced the same. So I don't know anymore about that either.

I know that I got it from a package... I didn't trade it... so it was bought. I'm wondering if perhaps they were only released in Canada and then certain US stores got some of the stock...

OptimusGeorge, I spoke with a friend this morning...he is ready to make you a serious offer....He has been absent from these boards for quite some time...

I will say this...ALex you paid $300 or $350 for your mint SHA, Philly overpaid $422 for his mint SHA, so a SHA with a mark on the foot should be a little less than what Alex's sold for...This is just my opinion and I guess this AKIA auction will tell...

Alex how much did you pay for BHS?

The person that might post in this thread a serious offer, is good for the $$$, so if you save $35 in Ebay comission and listing fees, you might want to seriously consider this person's offer...

I have an "auction" post under the Marketplace/Got Toys? section. I figured it would be a good way to do it. As long as whoever is the winner is true to their word, they'll have a SHA by the second week of August.

I actually got my SHA from JShurt (El Midgetron) back in the day for only $100. It was my BHS that went for $300 when I offered the seller of this auction that much after seeing this pic...

I think Veers has had a comtech chip wedged up his A$$ for years now... e+

He! He! He!

Have you had your colonoscopy lately? You could just pass the comtech reader past your a$$ to see if it plays...

JK Veers...lighten up...you didn't believe that this one is real and it obviously is...

You guys are right. I’ll be more optimistic from now on. Instead of always thinking people are full of shizznit, I’ll just…blah, blah, blah.

This cat can’t change his spots. e+
