Anyone get confirmation on their February figures yet?

I haven't been keeping up on the releases, but that Tokyo-hobby guy on Ebay has already shipped my manta-ray and frog, and that was last week. I'm expecting them within the week, hopefully. If those guys aren't the ones you're talking about, excuse my babbling.

Yeah, those were the ones I was talking about. Tokyo-hobby seems to be raking it in just off members of this forum. I myself bought the Kangaroo off him two days ago.

I just got my order as well, but with no kangaroo! I'm just about done waiting for one from BBTS, and the only one I've seen on ebay was $50, which is ridiculous. Is this Tokyo-Hobby person out of them at this point? I'm going to be just a little bit pissed off if I've been collecting these since the beginning and I end up missing one figure...

thats strange. the booster pack random figures with a june pre-order date on bbts has the zebra pictured. did i miss any new release updates after march?

I recieved the Feb. Releases today. The armadillo is really cool, but frustrating. I like his armor and the detailing on his big shoulder wheels are nice, but the armor gets in the way of his legs moving and he can't really hold his weapons well, the shield especially. The Manta is my favorite, his sculpt is great, the red really pops off the deep blue of his armor and he is very detailed. The frog is also cool, but his coloring is a little boring.

I trade weapons around based on what looks better on which beast. My plan is to give the round shield of the kitty cat to the Armadillo. That would add to the round shapes. Another example, I gave the sai weapon of the Panther to the Bull. Looks good on him and he doesn't need a shield, he's too hardcore for a shield.

I received my Feb release of Beast Saga yesterday. I think this may be one of my favorite batches of single figures thus far. I love all three. Manta Ray looks surprisingly heroic, and I love the little robot lobster as a head piece. The Armadillo is adorable. And the frog has a really nice, unique look to him and his armor. And for those wondering whether they would be metallic colored armor or not, they are not. While that's perhaps a little disappointing since it's different from the prototype photos, having non-metallic armor makes sense since their armors are cast in their specific colors and not painted. This way, they do match the the rest of the beasts really well. Here's a pic of the three of them so that you can see what color they are.

Very cool. Mine are coming later today, while I'm at work!
It'll give me something to do when I get home tonight. That drive home from downtown Seattle is going to seem just a little longer!

I just barely got mine too. I was a little surprised at how dark the Armadillo came out. But yeah, I love all the colors too. I also ordered 4 randoms from the second wave of randoms. These were my first random purchases. Just like other brands that do blind box randoms, these were fun to open. But just like other blind box brands, there's no variety when the online toy store picks for you. I got two turtles and two rhinos. I was really hoping for a golden eagle and a gorilla. Oh well...

Interestingly the Random Boosters this time around include Oga, Buffam, Guarl, Manta Ray, Al Jaylo, and only two of the new ones Morgan and Dacker. Which means Jan Jan (The Panda), Sianbi (The Cat), Seylas (The Walrus) and Wonder River (Dr. Dog) still don't have burst cards or special abilities. I figured Jan Jan and Sianbi would be getting their boosters this time around.

Maybe, they may show up in the smaller booster packs that are coming later? I dunno. Also interesting, Wolfen's ability is different from the one in the DX set.

What's the deal with the gold cards you can get in the random packs?
And what are the odds of finding one?
I only found two of them out of ten random packs (Tiger & Eagle).

They're just chase items. I think you get one per case? Plus you got two +6 dice as well per case.
