35? Uhh..how about No! lol ... The series 3 12 pack at TrU confuses me...what about series 2?? The distribution is wacky. I'm hoping more reports will come in from people about what is in stock at TrU...I don't have one anywhere near me.

Remember, with Trash Pack, Target didn't get them until the second wave... So, I'm thinking TRU has some kind of prima nocta rule going on with the exclusiveness of these toys.

I'm not one to judge what someone else sells things for but 35 bucks for one slug guy is freaking hilarious.

I am hoping to score them for at most like 7$ a pop.. :/
I think 5-7 bucks a piece isn't unreasonable...they are the hardest to get at the moment, so a small premium could be expected. Anything more than that right now is craziness.

12 pack and 1 each of the four 3-packs.
I also just noticed something else.
In Series 1, you got 12 fromt he coffin, and in each of the four 3-packs, you got one unique and 2 that were already int he 12-pack.
With Series 2, two of the 3-packs have all the the same figures that are in the 12-packs, so you don't even need to buy those. The other two 3-packs have 1 duplicate and 2 uniques.
Interesting.

You only need two 3-packs and a 12-pack for wave 2 to get the whole wave. All the figures in the 3-packs that have Captain Payback and Gator Jones are also duplicated in the 12-pack. The 3-packs that have Blazin' Basel and Buck Wilde also have the 2 exclusive zombies Flesh Eatin' Phil and Mr. Jangles.

Ah, no biggie, I gave the extra's to my son.

i figure maybe next time around, jakks will go back to their method on wave 1, to sell more of their packs. not the smartest move the way they did wave 2 from a business standpoint
I like that there targeting buyers outside hardcore collectors and making them more desirable to the mass market.
I do however think they missed the boat on only releasing zombies, some parents may not want there kids playing with little dead things, they really should have release all three lines wave 1's at the same time.
Having the ability to get in early by offering other figures out of the gate would have not only helped in the true gauge of this toys success but having the diffrent color schemes in play from day one would have made the shelf space much more attractive to impulse consumers.
just as an example take squinkles, if they only released pets during there roll out who knows where it would have gone, but by having disney, wrestling and mythical figures side by side you increase your overall appeal, now you can't go into a toy store without seeing squinkles or squinkle knock offs, thats how you drive sales on new brands, you can look at trash bag bunch as well, while they only have one line it has several sub lines built in to help it stand out
With Halloween and X-mas right around the corner you do not want to be sandbagging your own potential with such a unproven and unique toy line.

Hm, I've noticed that severl - perhaps all - my figures from the S2 12-pack are two-toned, with dark and aqua-like green. It's swirled. Not super attractive. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what. I'll check figs from my 3-pack when I open them.
Here's a photo of a series 2 set I found on the net where the figures appear to have this phenomenon you speak of..
