I don't remember seeing Springman in Nisei! Did that happen, and I just completely whiffed on it?

Yes, Springman was in Nisei during the Demon Seed arc. Akuma SHogun can and has revived his soldiers multiple times, so there is no need to worry why an Akuma who has died would be alive in Nisei.

Well, the point was first brought up, because Robinmask may/may not die. I stood under the idea that since he was prevalent in Nisei, that he wouldn't die in this storyline. Rid pointed out that Springman died, and was in Nisei... You pointed out that Akuma Shogun would often resurrect Devil Chojin, as he needed. Robinmask is not a Devil Chojin... So, what is really the likelihood that Robinmask will die in this arc?

Death in Kinnikuman is kind of like a short vacation.

 

Besides, even if Robin were to die, he could always come back at the end of this.

Now that you're talking about Springman, who dies here and re-appears in Nisei as nothing had happened (well, as you say, this is typical from Yude. Being a fan of this series since 1991 gets oneself used to this), I have to raise a question: Watching this arc, can we still consider Nisei - a series I only followed partially - as part of the Canon?

 

[I still have some problems with the second tag team tournament continuity (unless we consider it as an alternate storyline, which, in fact, it is). OMG   , a a die-hard fan of Kinnikuman for 22 years (I was only seven, then) and still requesting help. Yude, Yude..].

 

EDIT: I don't follow MLP:FIM, but I'm addicted to the broniemania. Now it's on us, as well. Ponies everywhere.

Okay, here's a an idea: When I played Kinnikuman Generations on the PSP I loved to make fights between chyojins from the same country, continent or international federation.

Now that the Mediterranean Games are taking place in Turkey, this has come to my head. Let's create, for instance, the Commonwealth Chyojin Olympics. Keeping it simple;

UNITED KINGDOM

Neptuneman/Quarrellman
Robin Mask
Kevin Mask

CANADA

Canadianman

AUSTRALIA

Atlantis

INDIA

Curry Cook

NAMIBIA

Kinnikuman Zebra

... And so on (I know there are much more chyojins from the Commonwealth around, it was just to make the picture here).

And make our list of athletes. We can create National Championships, Championships by federation (In the USA we have the Northern, Southern an Hawaiian, and that pesky Federation against which Kinnikuman and Terryman had to fight), Continental Championships

And that's it, it would be like imagining rosters for our favourite basketball, soccer or baseball team. At least this is a popular entertainment between sport buffs in my country when in summer season.

Yup, I'm bored to hell and I have hemorroids, but it's just an idea to keep this forum alive. I know it sucks, but I don't have anything better...

Honestly, I think how this arc winds up, will dictate whether Nisei is canon or not. 

Although, I would always love to see more Hanzo.

You're not quite dead in Kinnikuman unless your name is Dr. Bombay or you are a relative of Ashuraman (waiting for him to get back in this arc after his cameo at the beginning! He's one of my favorites).

well I all ways thought it was as they seem to reference things that happen in past chapters of Nisei  and it leads  straight  after the demon seed arc  and seeing as that's cannon  I'd have to go by the logic that so is the tag arc is still part of the cannon.

agreed its definatly canon if yude made the Tag Arc themselves its canon no disputing that im betting if you asked Yude they would tell you its canon I didn't mind the Tag Arc myself besides we got to see the Legends battle again

I'm buying your arguments, guys. Come to think of it, it's common sense that unless they change something in this arc or personally state the contrary, all the works from Yude are canon.

Nemesis' mask lowered and he took on a defensive stance. When Robin Mask attempted to punch him, he injured his own fist instead. Robin Mask didn't relent on his attacks, but to no avail.

"Fufufu... Stop it. You'll only hurt your own hands. There's no way you can break through this Perfect Defender, one of the secret techniques I inherited from my lineage!" - Nemesis

"Hey, wait a moment! That stance Nemesis is taking looks like...!" - Terryman

"Yes... It is a defensive stance which closely resembles Prince's Meat's Curtain!" - Meat

As Robin Mask went for a knee, Nemesis clasped hold of it with both his elbows. He threw Robin Mask before followed up himself, and thrusted at Robin Mask from behind.

"Perfect Assailant!" - Nemesis

Nemesis removed himself and attempted for another Perfect Assailant...

"Robin's strategy #8. Make use of opponent's power when it's at its maximum." - Robin Mask

Robin Mask dodged the attack and caught Nemesis between his legs.

"There it is! It's Robin Special!" - Terryman

"If you're talking about variety in techniques, the superman professor that is Robin Mask won't lose!" - Kinnikuman

"It's true that your technique's precision and decisiveness is formidable! However, it still belong to a lowly superman and yet to reach the standard of a Perfect Choujin! Neck Pump-up!" - Nemesis

Nemesis' neck portion started to enlarge, allowing him to break from Robin Special.

"Releasing the Pump-up!" - Nemesis

Catching Robin Mask's legs, Nemesis landed him down for a scorpion deathlock.

"You have managed to endure most of my techniques, but it's all thanks to your willpower. I can break your techniques with the wide power gap between us!" - Nemesis

Nemesis applied pressure to his hold. Slamming both hands down, Robin Mask kicked Nemesis away and released himself from the hold.

"Robin Mask, what I am agitated most is that armor of yours. You should only display your full power when you remove that. I would assume that you would remove it in the middle of the battle. However, you haven't thought about removing it, have you? Why? Are you going to make that as an excuse when you lose?" - Nemesis

"Ugh..." - Robin Mask

"Come at me with your full strength! We Perfect Choujins take on opponents at their maximum strength directly and crush them! Don't you ever mock this Perfect Choujin!" - Nemesis

"... It's truly as you said..." - Robin Mask

Saying so, Robin Mask removed his armor.

"I apologize for my rudeness! However, now that I have removed my armor, you'd better prepare for it!" - Robin Mask

"Show it to me! Your power at maximum potential!" - Nemesis

Nemesis tried to attack Robin Mask, but Robin Mask was able to dodge them and struck him back. Throwing himself to a rope, Robin Mask leaped upward towards Nemesis.

"Fufufu... I know it... the technique you're aiming for... there's only that remaining." - Nemesis

"We will see about that!" - Robin Mask

And Robin Mask grabbed Nemesis for a hold.

"I-it's Tower Bridge!" - Kinnikuman

"N-no, it's a little different!" - Terryman

"Take this! Special Technique - Naked Tower Bridge!!" - Robin Mask

This is the true form of Tower Bridge!!

 

Sorry for the late translation. I have been awfully busy for the last few weeks.

 

It's actually "Tower Bridge Naked", but that sure sounds weird.

 

Now that I think about it, there were only three times Robin Mask has removed his armor (vs Kinnikuman, vs Junkman and vs Neptuneman) before this one.
