lurb

I misread that as "Lube." Brung whole new meaning to the post.

Also, can someone post page Kin18215-05? Mine has 25% of it cut off.

Well, he IS 7'1".. I'm sure Alisa had to use a lot of it when....

.. Er, anyways. Here's the page you needed.

Check the .zip download, too. I downloaded it twice and still got the bad page.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Yeesh, all that page makes me wonder is someone's comment before that everyone should have been disqualified there and then and Suguru and Kamehame would have won the tournament after defeating Black Hole/Pentagon.

Chp. 238: All babies are cute...even three-headed, six armed ones: http://mangahelpers..../releases/13358

BTW: this chapter sort of gave me a bizarre idea that may finally crack the code as to how The Ninja revived between this arc and the Throne...essentially it involves him "stealing" the "return to life" that Ashuraman was giving to The Mountain (my guess is via substitution or "Right-or-Wrong at Will Jutsu"), then running from authorities before meeting up with Ataru.

Question. Is it Kendaman or Kendraman? It's misspelled several times. Also, "This this: Bear Claw" when Robin uses the Bearclaw in Chapter Nine.

Also, the bad page was in the individual chapter download, Knux.

It's Kendaman. The pun, as is said a couple of pages ago, is on "Kendama", which is an equivalent of "Cup and Ball".

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

That's odd, because that's where I ripped the image from and it showed up fine.

Try it now.

Also, tsssskk. Who's making the typos?

Kendraman sounds to me more like a fusion of a Choujin and a Digimon. (so sue me: many of them are "thisdramon" and "thatdramon"...)

Chp. 239: The chapter where my respect for Sunshine suddenly takes a massive nosedive. (if only he was as cool as he was in Nisei): http://mangahelpers..../releases/13400

So, in other words, Sunshine's friendship power is being aroused?

I get all Choujin have friendship power within (as is revealed for the most part by the end of the arc), but the whole circumstances where Sunshine awakens to it...it's just wrong.

Oh, that's it! For the longest time I've been wondering why I kept instinctively typing out "Kendraman" instead of "Kendaman", and I think you just discovered it.

Now do you have any idea what kept causing me to type "Silver Mask of Peach" every time the thing was mentioned?

I do remember reading it, myself, somewhere, so I'll just check.

[insert music from "Jeopardy"]

Okay, from the very start, it's on the title page of Chapter 217, "Mysterious New Power", he is called Kendraman. Next is Page 16 of Chapter 218. I don't think there's other incidents, but if there are, I've stopped after Chapter 222, as my eyes are starting to strain.

No, no, we should use Cold-bloodedness for that. It looks a lot closer to the Tragedy and Comedy masks. Just have to cut a few corners pointing downwards on the mouth and we have it.

There's a chapter early in the niteenth volume that looks like it should've gotten edited together-- it has Suguru and Terryman about to fight each other on the tops of the page, and doesn't make perfect sense when it's not together.

Nrggh. I've got like.. no motivation to go back and finish those chapters. orz I'm even lazy about uploading the last three.

Also... since Orgg brought it up with me.. how many people want KinLady on the website? I'm kind of against it since.. I dunno. I feel it's an insult to the series. XD;; But you guys may feel differently. Opinions? stfu, Knuxie and just do your job? IDK?

KinLady is basically Yude allowing some hack to manifest his cross-gender Kin fan fic into an offical manga.

I would love it translated. Can't troll it unless I know more about it. ;D

I wasn't sure if they were really allowing.. >_>; I remember hearing that they aren't fond of the KinLady themselves (I wonder what they think of the yaoi doujinshis.. ffft.)

Also, getting off my lazy butt and updating the website. What's the last chapter of volume 19?

Don't worry Knuxie, my motivation tends to suddenly come back every 2 weeks or so, then disappears again. Don't worry about being lazy.

But KinLady should probably be on the site either way, considering nobody who doesn't read Kinnikuman would care about it. Kind of trying to keep everything Kinnikuman-related in one place, and whatnot.

And I think it's 235.
