Well, I thought the Spidey/Goblin pack was terrible, and didn't care for the Iron/Punisher set that much. (Hmmm.. Iron Punisher...Sounds like a great Custom. :D) Black Panther, Wolverine and the Hand Ninja were alright though. I just felt that for the price they could have done better.

Can't wait for the new team packs though. They look great. I mostly can't wait to get the Hulk from the Avengers pack. He's just a repaint of the Juggs body, but the colors and head are fun looking.

By the by, EntertainmentEarth has packaged pics of these up.

Found the Giant Battles tonight. Not to fond of Goliath, but the Cyborg Thor is pretty nifty.

Frost Giant is fun, his helmet is rubbery. Not much hip articulation available from the skirt though. Also annoyed that the body armor/pads are glued to the body. But he is a cool figure. No foot swivel either, just a hinge. Loki is pretty sweet.

So check your wally walls quickly. They appear to be only 2 to a case, and from what I hear most stores are currently only getting a case each. Just happy to have more larger figures. I wish they would give us more useful characters though. I like the Frost Giant, but there are plenty of larger characters begging to be made.

I have a hard time believing that a store exclusive won't be clogging up the aisles in a couple of months but I picked mine up this morning anyway. That way I don't have to waste time if the Wal Mart I go to doesn't restock. I haven't had a chance to open them yet but I'm pretty exited.

Did you open em yet Jay?

People are finding the new Samurai and Task Master comic packs at TRU. Crap. I hate it when this happens. We don't get anything for 4 months then new waves pop up one after the other. I bet next week wave 13 will start popping up.

Did I mention I found the Black Ronin as well? Pretty lame variant. He is black instead of gray. It's only an excusable purchase because more than a few people have claimed the mantle.

I also picked up the Ronin variant today at target. I like it better then the grey.
I figure I could fit both figures into a display.

Frost Giant spent most of the day on the floor in my living room where I'd lovingly stare down at him every few minutes while watching t.v.
I'm way more exited about the idea of owning a Goliath than actually doing anything with him.

My Toys R' Us just restocked, they just put out the Sentry/Spider-Man wave so I don't think I missed anything new but you never know.

I think I only have like one Ronin apperance so I'll probably pass on the new paint job. Though I think it does look nicer.

HAHA! I'm in the same boat. He is still chillin on my room floor. I glance at him when I walk through, and a few times before work when I had nothing else to do to kill a couple minutes I'd toy around with him. I feel the same about Goliath as well. Great to have the character, but the figure isn't very exciting. Just a repaint with a new head and belt.

By the way is your Goliath's head kind of wobbly? It seems like they made this head for another body, but then just stuck it on the old Clops buck instead. He should have been bulkier.

As for the 2 packs. I hate TRU, so I think I'm gonna wait to hunt for em till they start popping up at Walmart.

If anyone comes across an extra set of the Giant Battles could you scoop them both up for me to send loose to save on shipping. Never even saw last years at any of the 5 Walmarts within 20 minutes of my house and their MU coverage is very weak in general so I doubt these ones will ever make it out my way. Just trying to avoid paying eBay prices if possible. I'll definitely compensate you a little bit for your troubles though but please message me first so I don't end up with multiple sets in the event several of you turn out to be generous souls. Much appreciated!

If anyone comes across an extra Mary Jane at retail, please grab it for me. I'll gladly reimburse your costs plus shipping. Or trade for something. :)

Well saw a very inexpensive (comparatively) set on eBay so I bit the bullet and I'm all set here. Looks like the Apocalypse wave is starting to show up on eBay as well. Anyone see them in store yet?

Havn't heard anything about wave 13 hitting stores yet. The only ones I see on eBay are either in California, Hong Kong, or still just Pre-Orders.

Saw some bits of the new wave at TRU today, picked up Gladiator but passed on Cyclops and Rat Wolverine. Thinking I may go back for Cyclops at some point though as I like the version better than the 2-pack version just not sure if I really need 2 versions of him. Still on the lookout foe Apocalypse and Cable though if anyone happens across them!

I checked Saturday morning, and found nothing new anywhere. I'm hopeing people start spotting them at Walmarts. But every Wal-mart and Target in my area seems to be overstocked with refresher figs. So I'm worried it will be a while before I find any new figs in my area.

3 of the 5 Walmarts within driving distance of me have stopped carrying the line entirely so I guess refresher figs are better than nothing :p

Just got back from a Tuesday morning toy run and nothing here even though both TrU and Target could use a bit of a restock. Perhaps later in the week.

Still haven't seen wave 13 or the Deadpool/Taskmaster Silver Samurai/Patch two packs but I scratched my MU itch with the X-Men boxed set and Cyclops/Jean Grey first class two pack. Totally passing on Wolverine/Sabretooth unless it comes way down in price.

Well, I found the rest of 13 yesterday at Wal-mart, and had to then have a 15 minute conversation with some old guy about comics, and whether to keep collectables mint for future profit... kinda weird. But was very excited to find them. Cyclops is actually very good, and I was surprised to find I liked the Wolverine as well. Havn't opened the rest yet.

But I then found the X-Men 6 pack at TRU today. Got ticked though, cause I asked the guy there if they had gotten any other MU stuff in today, and he said yeah they got the 2 packs, but they couldn't sell them till the 16th??? What?? I asked if I could go ahead and get em, but he wouldn't budge. I was very annoyed.

Oh! And.... http://www.littlerub...=0

Yeah, Maybe they will pop up at my local Wally world.. as they would be cheaper there, but the 2 pack pegs are loaded with refreshers right now... though that didn't stop em from throwing out the w13 figs. Hate stupid floor associates.

Found everybody but Apocalypse today, and at my last stop. I'm stoked about this wave, I guess I'll always be a bit of an X-men fanboy and can't wait to open them up.

I still can't find the 2-Packs. Went back to TRU hopeing to snag the ones the dude wouldn't let me see, just to find out from the manager that the dude I talked to was confused and was talking about Captain America figs and not 2-packs. That's VERY annoying.

But yeah, you will love Apocalypse. I wasn't sure about him when I saw he was a more modern design, but I love him. He has an all new ankle articulation which really works well. This whole wave is tops. Cable is awesome, I have the hopeless one. Glads paint apps are a bit splotchy, but he is still cool

What did you think of the Xmen 6 pack? I was somewhat dissapointed all around.

I think it's kind of lame that the only new figure in it is the Storm sculpt and I'm not going to pay $40 for one new figure, eBay here I come! She's been selling for about $15 on her own which isn't too bad to not end up with 5 dupes :p
