Maybe he didn't start out as one, but he eventually became one.

What I gather with my 0 knowledge of japanese is that the original Rule #1 is ''Do not trash talk in a match'', and the punishment is eternal deformity.

I think Abyssman is also mad at Shogun for giving him a scar on his back, making it look like he broke the Perfects' rule about running away from fights.

Nah, the rule was still never allowing your opponent to see your back.
According to Abyssman, attacking an opponent from behind is something that only inferior Choujin would do, but the Merciful God does just that in the flashback and no-one bats an eyelid.
Also Abyssman has a second title admist the Perfect Origin group; 'Perfect the Rule'.

At least this one got a chance to fight and kicked the diamonds outta his body. I kinda want to see more of Abyssman.
PD: Or his brother, Joseph Parkman.

Considering Shogun has actually bled here, he has his physical body, either his ACTUAL body or he used Devil Knights, which makes me think we might possibly see the Knights fight in this sub-arc.
Another thought occurs, since they are in the underworld at the moment, we might also see the recently deceased Akumas and Perfects.
Lastly, I kinda hope Strong the Budo turns out to actually be Neptune King and just lied about what he said earlier. He WAS talking about things from a first person perspective which were supposedly experienced by Neptune King, not him, like when he was talking about Neptune Man. One of the things about Neptune King was that he didn't have much story time, it was just "once upon a time there was this legendary Chojin. Oh, wait, he's here!" so this would be a lot of development for him, especially if he's one of the original Perfects. He might even be the one to have gotten Goldman and Silverman to fight each other, but that's a wild guess, but then again, I was also right with my prediction that Shogun was one of the original Perfect Chojin.

^^^
"Naraku Zanshukei" ~ "Abyss Decapitation"
"naraku" is a term for "the pits of hell", "the abyss" or "Hades" (less general than "jigoku")
"zanshukei" literally means "throat-cutting/decapitation punishment", i.e. a death sentence by beheading

We'll probably see the Knights take on the next lot of Original Perfects.

Whoa man! An awesome poster AND Akuma Shogun kicking epic amounts of ass while the Devil Knights appear? This week's too cool for Kinniku-fans.

Well another Brutal Guillotine finish. And if the Devil knights are fighting against the perfect chojins, then yeah, I'm all for that. I just don't want re-fights from the original series. :\

If The Merciful God is the Chojin Enma, then maybe we will see Omega Man...

Possibly. Mirageman was the guardian/watchman of the island that leads to the graveyard while Abyssman I guess was the protector of the mortar, or maybe the 'leader' of the Oni, idk, his role seems to never have been officially stated. Either way, two of the revealed Perfect Origin so far have roles in the Choujin Graveyard. And Omegaman had a role in the graveyard too.

Wasn't Omega Man the guy who hunted down escapees?
Also, a thought occurrs, didn't Phoenix have an evil batwing kind of motif when he fell under the sway of the Chojin Enma? Or was that anime only? Because Kinnikuman Nemesis has a similar motif and I wonder if he is "sponsored" by a God(Chojin Enma) like the Fated Princes were.

Also probably old but for people wanting music from scramble from the throne heres a 43 and half minute video of it

Despite being 3rd, Abyssman put up a better fight then Mirageman. It took 6 points of his nine point seal to kill Abyssman, even if it was overkill.
