So I got the newest three guys yesterday, and this is a pretty strong release to take a break on. I don't feel like there is a let down in these three this time around.
Dacker is the star this time, his colors are bright, and eye catching, his sculpt is wonderful, with the propellers on his shoulders, his aviator goggles, the swept back portions on his hips, and his pontoon boots. He fits in well with the rest of the Wind Warriors, and makes me feel a little disappointed there haven't been more figures in the Sky Tribe. I can't wait for General Hawk to get a non-gashapon release.
Wonder River is also a nice figure. He has less color, mostly a seafoam green on his armor and a golden brown for his fur, but the accents on his shoulders and the red crosses look nice. I love the sculpted stethasope on his forehead, and the little crosses on his crotch pad. He seems younger in his toy form than the animated version due to the latter's moustache. The toy is very rounded and inviting, lacking the sharp edges on the shoulders and hips that many of the other toys have. Overall he's a good figure, his color is a little bland, but he is cool.
Finally we have the Eastern Army Spy Morgan. This guy is very cool, a purple armored flying squirrel with a cutting techno feel. He has a cool visor scuplted on his forehead and neat mechanical wings on his arms and heels as well. He definatly looks like he can fill the ninja roll we've seen him taking in the cartoon, pulling off mission impossible style infiltration. The green on his chest and gold paint xs on his shoulders break up his colors nicely and he has a nice overall color scheme when sitting with the other Eastern Army Soldiers.
All in all this is a good wave for the line to take a break on, three strong figures and little disappointment beyond the fact there aren't any coming out next month.
Here is my collection, as complete as I'm willing to get, no vehicles, burst versions or gashapons:
