I was prepared for a bit of disappointment on the X-Men pack but after getting Storm out and realizing how limited her movement is I'm wondering if I should jam them back in and display in package. Hopefully we get a Banshee sooner than later, he is in the new X-Men movie after all, and I can set up a proper new X-Men team on the shelf.

How many Storms are there on e-bay? Like the majority of people here she was the main reason I bought the pack.

I bought the pack for Storm and Thunderbird. I was totally pissed with storm. A cloth goods cloak should have been mandatory. They should have known that plastic crap would have basically held her in place. The head sculpt was great though, but I think they could have left the grey wash off her hair, plain white would have looked good.

I think Thunderbird is acceptable, but I wish they would have used a newer buck, like the cable one. He really deserves more movement, and a bigger scale.

Cyclops, and Nightcrawler were crap I think. Now I have 3 Cyclops repaints, and an inferior Nightcrawler who's head falls off to boot.

Colossus was great though. I was very happy with him, I appreciated the new knees and vest...is that a vest? What do you call that thing? I also like the silver stenciling on the side of his hair.

And again, I actually am surprised I like this Wolverine as well. I think it's the scale on these that gets me. He actually has the core Wolverine spot in my character display now.

So if I were to rate them in order of least to best. I can't pose Storm to my expectations, so she is the loser of the group.

Storm
Nightcrawler
Cyclops
Thunderbird
Wolverine
Colossus.

*** MY set was $34.99 at TRU by the way. So not a bad price for a 6 pack. Really needed stands or a comic though.

I found Silver Samurai pack today. I'd like to try and look for the others tomorrow if I can.

Too much stuff popping up in such a short period of time is kind of annoying.

Sentinel is due out here soon isn't it?

Oooooh, I'm still waiting for the Silver Samurai two packs. A nice flow of product all year would be nice rather than this two or three big pushes a year. I was happy at least this year we got the refresher packs with some variants to keep me hunting and adding to the collection.

Samurai is fantastic. Make sure you find one with a straight helmet. All the ones I saw were fine, but some people report the head being assembled crooked. Awesome guy! Surprisingly good paint apps as well. He was worth the $15 bucks by himself I think.

I am a bit confused though. I was actually excited to read the comic that came with it, but it isn't THAT issue! Really weird, but they just used the old Wolv #2 cover for a modern issue. I was quite disappointed when I flipped it open. :(

Now I want a Stryfe! Come on Hassy Bro, give me a Cable/Stryfe comic pack next time. :p

Wow, they are saying there is going to be 2 Guardians packs! A Rocket Raccoon and Groot comic pack, then a Guardians team pack! I hope this is true! A sweet Guardians of the Galaxy team would be an awesome way to round out the year!

Hopeing for Drax, Starlord, and Bug if there is gonna be a team pack. :)

Well! It's time to look at my Marvel Universe shelf, and...

Can YOU name every figure on this shelf?

Posted Image

Some of them are going to be a little tricky. I might be persuaded to post higher-res closeups if I have to.

And the prize if you win? You get... PRAISE! 'Cause I'm a cheapskate and this is just for fun.

You're kinda cheating with the one obvious non-Marvel figure, but otherwise, seemed quite easy to me. I don't imagine that the regulars of the Marvel Universe thread are going to find this too difficult, other than perhaps remembering the name of the Wrecking Crew member you have.

You have a bigger collection. Nice shelves, though!

The thing is, they aren't all Marvel Universe, even with our obvious little friend in the corner. It was worse when I had a 3 3/4" Thing in there who wasn't Marvel universe (that corner got absorbed by Spider-Man's rogues' gallery).

And yes, I am cheating. heheheh. It's alwaysfun to see if anybody can recognize that last one.

Haha! There is only 1 wolverine in the top shelf. But the bottom shelf mostly consists of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America! :D I hate Hasbro sometimes.

They have pics up of what looks like a Starlord/Rocket Raccoon/Drax (with tiny Groot pack in) team pack. I wonder if we're still getting a Rocket Raccoon/Groot comic pack?

That's because they don't like you! :p

Man, bout time for pics! They all look great! I'm a bit worried though. :( Rocket looks like a minifigure, and not an action figure. I will be sooooo pissed off if this is the case.

Wave 16 figures are announced (though not officially so keeping my fingers crossed)

http://thefwoosh.com...896949db83b166e

Tony Stark Iron Man
Iceman
Absorbing Man
Astonishing Wolverine
Magneto

Some of those might turn out really cool but I'm super bummed I get no new characters to add to my Marvel universe.
Also we need more villains not rehashes of ones I already have. This year is only going to see Apocalypse as a new villain for my heros to fight. Its like the first year all over again.

Ewww. Gross. It's almost like the line will be the dumps by the end of the year.

No new characters, with so many characters to be made, they opt for an entire rehash wave? Suck it Hasbro.

Though I knew we would have to get another Iceman. He will surely be the 25th figure. Lame. They better pull out some top notch new sculpting for this wave.

I am somewhat exited for Astonishing Wolverine and there could be potential but I have a feeling we're just gonna get repaints.

I don't think Wolverine should be single carded anymore. Keep him stuck in the comic packs. Same goes for Iron Man. I have no use for either of these. It's just a wasted slot for a new character. All of em are.

Tony Stark Iron Man = Bleh! Unless he has removeable armor or whatever.
Iceman = Unless as someone on Fwoosh mentioned it is a Jim Lee version don't need it.
Absorbing Man = Don't need it period! Really? The only other AM I want is a Giant Battles version homaging this issue of Avengers. Posted Image
Astonishing Wolverine = Whatever. Cool suit, I'll like the figure either way, but don't need it!
Magneto = As long as he has the Jim Lee Cyclops body (mentioned also on fwoosh) I'll be happy to own this one.

I completelyunderstand making Dr. Doom and Absorbing Man single-carded figures, as their comic pack was scalper heaven. I found mine because I live in the middle of nowhere, but even then it was a fluke.
