Also saw a Harry Potter, Charles Bronson, and get this, the girl surfer that got her armed chopped off by a shark (not sure if that's in good taste lol), Horrific Harmony. Also see a Clint Eastwood from Dirty Harry, Ash from Evil Dead, Woody the Wrecker might be woody harrelson from that one zombie movie..

Hey guys and gals...I'm new here, and while I'm a longtime fan of these sorts of figures, S.L.U.G Zombies actually got me back in! Anyway, I managed to get a series 1 12pk in a trade, and all of series 2 at Target. However, I never managed to find the series 1 3pks :/ Seems as though none of the stores in my area got em. Do we know if there are any more series 1 on the way? Distribution really seemed to suck on the initial run, and now with series 3 beginning to hit, I fear I won't see em at all. Anyone know what the deal is? Any online retailers still have em in stock? Any info would be great! Thanks in advance!

Right now the series 1 3 packs are the toughest to find. There are no reports coming in of people locating them in stores or on-line. ( A lot of folks are looking for the 4 3pack exclusives form series 1 ) Series 1 was considered a "test run" and the 12 packs and 3 packs were only available in a limited number of TrU stores...with the 12 pack also being available on line..but not the 3 packs. At this same time Walgreens was carrying the blind box singles. Entertainment Earth was the only way to locate both the series 1 12 pack and the 3 packs on-line, but they have been out of stock for months. ( You can pre-order with them for all the upcoming waves and the carrying cases. )

The figures were scheduled for a nationwide release this month with TrU getting new stock as well as new stores such as Target and Kmart picking up the line, but distrbution has been pretty screwy with Target now stocking series 2 without ever having series 1...while TrU is stocking series 3 without ever having series 2. With the distribution being as it is...a return of wave 1 may not be probable.

If you find the series 1, 3 pack exclusives, grab them quick lol

That's sorta what i figured :/ Well, hopefully Jakks is aware of the popularity of this line (I think they are), and either re-release them or just ship more to retail along with the new stuff. Sucks cuz Mighty Bite Macs and Headless Halpert are two of the figures I wanted most too! I'll probably grab at least a few of each should i ever see em...i know way too many people who missed out!

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't redo Series 1. They already have the mold made and running off another batch will be cheap for them.
That is unless the line flops.

I dont think it'll flop...these things sell like wildfire, and the buzz all over the net on toy boards is nuts...people love this line! And they Dem cheap enough to produce...small, no paint, no tooled articulation. We're prolly talking pennies on the dollar. It's like printing money for Jakks! They'd be fools not to...

Stopped by TRU again yesterday... And good thing. They've got series three on hangers at the end of the aisle. It looks like they only shelved a case of three packs, and a case of twelve packs.

i'm curious about this also. but it can only be answered by long time collectors. any other series played out like this? with a limited 1st wave, then after future waves were released they re-did the 1st waves a 2nd time?

I guarantee that you'll see wave 1 figures again, probably closer to the holidays.

Ironmask, what aisle were they pegged in? I've heard lots of conflicting reports, and never really know where to look :/

As for re-release, companies do it all the time. Hasbro's released about 500 versions of the same Luke and Vader, and with Jakks track record of loving to reuse and re-release their WWE figures, they clearly have no qualms about doing it either And in most of those cases they even release em in different packaging. Here they need only release em straight the way as they are. Haha

They were at the end of the aisle that has the Beyblade, Monsuno, Dagdar, and other shitty gimmick game-toys. Near the end-cap, on one of those hanging wire racks.
