I like how Budo gives me this impression that he's always pissed off. Also, did anybody get what was that... castle? treehouse?

Looks like that tree was the base of the 10 perfect chojins. From what I can tell.

I predict Silverman is about to show up and challenge Akuma Shogun.
I am also eagerly awaiting the appearance of the Princes and Chojin Gods. Come on, you know they'll show up once whatever Shogun is planning finally goes down.

That crazy looking tree seems to be called "Unforgiven Yggdrasil". Apparently it seems to have been able to withstand the thingummy rays.
So, I'm reading this with a hangover but, Strong the Budo is actually Chojin Enma and Silverman is one of Kinnikuman's ancestors?
Think I'm on the right lines...

Pretty sure that's what's happening, as well. And going off the latter, Nemesis is probably a descendant of Shogun.

I suspect that the tree is why lesser Chojin survived the Chojin Capilary Rays, since otherwise only the Perfects would have survived.

I could be mistaken, but I thought it was revealed when Nemesis and Akuma Shogun met that Kinnikuman and Nemesis were both descendants of Silverman. It's been a little while now and I wasn't certain of it then, but that was the impression I got. Also, I'm expecting that if Silverman does show up, he'll probably be fighting a Perfect Chojin, possibly even teaming up with Akuma Shogun (which I'd love to see).

Could that possibly be from the second tournament? I recall Kanibase got surgery done so that he wouldn't be beaten by rock again and I seem to recall Kinnikuman joking that he still could only throw one thing, only now it's paper. It didn't matter, of course, as there was no rock, paper, scissor competition that time, but it was still pretty funny.

Hello, I just finished reading the first Kinnikuman series, and I wanted to hear some opinions about which series should I start with next. Is it better to start reading the 2011 sequel or Ultimate Muscle? I know that Ultimate Muscle is set in the future, but I'm not sure if I sould go chronologically or by the order the series were released. I would love to hear opinions about this. Thanks.

If you've already read the original and the Scramble for the Throne, then you could start on the curent story with the Perfect Large Numbers and Perfect Origins, but since this arc isn't available in English, it may be difficult to get the whole story (unless you can read Japanese). Plus finding it all might be difficult.
I personally loved Ultimate Muscle and it was what I started with. The earlier chapters are probably my least favorite, but I feel like it starts to get really good in the Replacement Tournament Arc and then the Demon Seed Arc after the Chojin Olympics is pretty great. This would be the easier one to get into, especially since the 27 volumes prior to the Dream Tag Tournament Arc are available in English through Viz Media (if you require it in English, that is).

You're right, that was said, though it does mean that they are related to Shogun, as well. Also, yes, that would be awesome.

People in Kinnikuman have had silly names before, but "The Man" takes the cake. Probably ate it, too.

HIS NAME IS LITERALLY "THE MAN" (ザ・マン) haha oh wow
I know right? This is about as lame as it gets. Such a cringe worthy name. Mind you, with all the "man" names, I guess
it makes sense that hes "the" man...

A bit dissappinted Ninja and Black Hole didn't stick around. You'd think Shogun would be able to heal them or something. That aside, it looks like a big rumble is about to go down. Now all it needs is SIlverman...

More tension than bridge cables.
Also, I love how Suguru is between Shogun and Man and is just like 'send help'

Was thinking the same thing! BH might be back though as he was only ordered to take The Ninja to a hospital. Fingers crossed... I ruddy love BH!!

This just underscores how many Perfects got themselves trashed in this saga. Wow.
As well as the sheer grit of the Justice Chojin and, despite getting truly torn up in their matches, somehow always pull through. I wonder what the Perfects opinion of them is now...

Has anyone else noticed those circular things on the side of Psychoman's head? Does he remind anyone else of Freeza?
