[Universal Ruler Supreme]

Really? I have had zero trouble with comic packs in my area. I've seen each pack countless times so far, and I could probably go out right now and get most of them. So far the only one I havn't found is the Task Master set. But I'm sure they will get refreshed plenty soon.

I bet I could still find a Dr. Doom/Absorbing Man two pack hanging on a peg, not even kidding. I don't know if where I qualify as "middle of nowhere" or not but I'm going to check next time I go out.

I suppose the prudent action would be as I've seen suggested to "wait for pics" before judging to harshly but nothing is going to cover the disapointment of no new characters. Magneto for example will probably just be a Secret Wars rehash like Dr. Doom and Ultron.

Found some remnants of the Strange wave this morning. Got beat to it at every Target I stopped at. Only found Falcon, Clear Strange, and Doom.

Still no new wave of figures here in Boise, in fact I'm seeing one of the old revision cases (I've seen Ghost Rider three times in the last week) pop up more and more. You think I'd be used to the waiting by now.

Wow, Magneto has a new body, Iceman looks different, Marvel thinks I'll buy my second and third Absorbing Man, and That unmasked "Tony Stark" Iron Man sucks (and that is not a suit he is wearing).

Now that my whining is done, Double Wow that new product is awesome, the biggest complaint I have is how when I put together my Sinister Six Kraven is going to look waaaaaay better than everybody else, even the MU Elektro. Finally a Beast hoo-ray. Even if I wanted Jim Lee era Beast, any Beast is overdue.

Comic packs are Kicking a little butt! Alot of the same though, but then again I'm have no problem buying more of some of those characters. Like Juggs, Thanos, etc.

Clever reuse of the Colossus buck!

Mags isn't the one I wanted, but he still looks good! Not too thrilled that he is reusing the AIM body. I'm afraid he will be still too short. A welcome replacement of that cruddy comic pack version though.

And I didn't think I'd want another Absorbing Man, but I actually really like the two variants.

Right now I'm most excited about Beta Ray Bill, least excited I spy with my little eye an "A-list" five pack. I think I'll be passing that.

Really, I thought I'd be excited about Beta as well, but the figure looks so gimpy. Hopefully that's still a work in progress, I'd like it if they gave him new arms and tooled the head or neck so it won't sit so high up. Legs look good though.

The fact they have yet to present a She-Hulk or a large body female is a shame though. Honestly if you look through the pics again, there is really alot of waste in there. It's almost like most of the next year of figures will be characters we already have plenty of. Don't know why they insist on doing this. I can understand covering costs on existing and new tooling, as Hasbro probably only gets a buck of profit from each figure, but it feels like a running joke now.

Do you want another Thor, Iron Man, Spidey, or even a Iron Fist? I know I don't.

WTF Hasbro! Why am I expected to buy 43 characters I already have? Now be it quite a few are awesome and I'll be happy to buy, but really. These numbers show their narrow sight into the future of this line. Makes me kind of sick.

Of the 43 old characters, there are about 16 that I really want. So 32 of 59 isn't as bad in comparison when looking at it from a New vs Old character perspective.

That is great news, Scarlet Witch was going to be on my new post SDCC top ten since you need her for so many Avengers line ups. Also Hercules, Puck, and Kang are all great news plus with so many different versions of Angel with the feathers it seems like it would be a no brainer.

p.s. Is that a Jubilee figure I can't tell, the coat looks spot on but it's a bit indistinct.

Yeah, I was hopeing it was Jubilee as well.. But you can't be sure. I hope so, that would great! And the buck/head could be repainted into a Boom-Boom. I want a 90's X-force team dag nabbit.

Finally get a She-Hulk too! Not to fond of the waist swivel on the model though.
Scarlet Witch looks to be using the new Female body! Awesome! Two more ladies for the Liberators.

I was actually thinking the other day how cool a Kang figure would be and sure enough! Lot of nice fan service for the start of the new year.

I needed a Herc for a Champions reunion on my shelf, since I have this sweet Dark Star. Perhaps Swarm will show up.

Don't look at the bigger pic, I have a lot of touch up work to do still, especially the face. She does look nice from the door of the room.

Might get a Darkstar one day. I kind of wish they would cater the Con exclusives to the more obscure characters. They could do us some big favors to help fill in holes by releasing a 6 character box set every year. Doesn't even need to be a team, and really you don't need alot of new tooling to do so.

My absolute favorite thing in that diorama is Thor treating Absorbing Man like his little brother with the headlock and all.

For sure fans of Dan Slott era She-Hulk won't be satisfied (and since that appears to be the costume they picked....)
Classic Lizard is another in a long line of slight improvements in the Spider-Man line. Other than a few key articulation problems and the size, it's one beefy figure much bigger than the Lizard I'm used to seeing, it's a very solid figure.

Just ordered a Silver Sentinel from TRU. They also had the Taskmaster/Deadpool pack in stock so I got that too. I don't like ordering the Comic Packs online like that, cause of paint apps. But, it would be a waste of gas to constantly drive around looking for one. So Free shipping if you get $75 bucks or more on your order. Added a SF Ken figure to my order. Couldn't find any promo codes to add to it though. They only have the good ones when your not looking for stuff. Did find an in store coupon for 20% off any regular priced item though.
