When Mayumi and Harabote visited Nemesis in his cell, he told them that if he were to be released, the country would be divided between him and his brother Tatsunori, which would prevent Tatsunori from unifying it under his just rule. Apparently, the country was torn by civil war. Nemesis likens himself to the "darkness" to Tatsunori's "light", M & H pity him, and Nemesis encourage them to carry on Tatsunori's legacy when they grow up, so that nobody will suffer a fate such as his in the future. M & H promise to do so.

In the present, Mayumi asks Nemesis why he is determined to kill Suguru, who has worked hard to realize Tatsunori's dream. In a hateful tone of voice (shown by the somewhat "distorted" text), Nemesis replies that while he did indeed support Tatsunori all those years ago, he has since had a change of heart, and now wants nothing more than to crush the hopes/ideals of the Kinniku lineage.

Thanks dude! Awesome when someone is kind enough to give some exposition now and then!

With that said, latest chapter is up. Looks like more background. Digging those character designs, who are they? More Perfect Chojin i'm guessing

To summarize this chapter, Nemesis tells the "origin story" of the Muscle Curtain: Tatsunori was a kind ruler, but since he strived to give everyone the same rights, the minor noble families resented him for reducing their power/privileges. They constantly plotted against him and sent assassins to dispose of him, but he kept fending them off and forgiving the instigators. The legendary event during the twentieth year of his rule, where he defended himself for three days and three nights, was actually an attempted coup d'etat rather than an attack by invaders/evil Choujin. Even the palace guards apparently wished for it to succeed, but Tatsunori returned.

Nemesis concludes that no matter how virtuous a ruler may be, he/she will eventually be used and ultimately betrayed by his subjects. The only way to escape being used is to put an end to the absolute authority of the Kinniku dynasty, He says that he will give Suguru and Mayumi one last chance to join the Perfect Choujin and serve Choujin Enma. If they refuse, they will... well, guess.

Thanks again @umgogo I was thinking Tatsunori had trouble at palace. Seems Yude are watching Game of Thrones there hahaha

Nemesis is nice giving them the chance to become perfect...

Nice chapter today to commemorate the end of Kochikame in Japan!! Seriously, end of a an era! I'm sure Yude and Akimoto-san shared some good memories from back in the days of the golden age!!

That has been by far the best kochikame commemoration so far! It's nice thinking Kinnikuman is less than 3 years from this feat tho

A gag, his armor has been stolen. He feels "naked" without it.

Looks like the turned good Perfects are here to talk some sense into Nemesis. Also dat Kinniku-driver Reversal. Both combatants have taken a finisher and yet still stand!

In the previous chapter, Mayumi (or was it Suguru?) told Nemesis that he had simply lost the ability to trust others. Here, Nemesis attempts to convince Mayumi to join the Perfects, but of course he refuses and he and Harabote ask Nemesis to add his talents to the Kinniku family instead.

Nemesis refuses in turn, calling them Katou Choujin (inferior superhumans) and again muses on the fact that they, like his brother Tatsunori, are too pure and kind. That power will eventually be used against them. Thus, he will serve Choujin Enma as a Perfect Choujin, even if he is the last Perfect remaining.

Peek-a-Boo then shows up and shouts that Nemesis is not alone, and that he (P-a-B is still a Perfect Large Number and retains his pride as a Perfect Choujin. Nemesis scoffs at this notion, since P-a-B broke the ironclad rule of committing suicide upon defeat. P-a-B says that they can talk about that after the match, but for know, he will serve as Nemesis' second.

Nemesis, unsurprisingly, claims to need no second, but P-a-B says that going it alone won't do. Since most of the Perfect Large Numbers and Perfect Origins have lost, Nemesis now carries the hopes of the Perfect Choujin World on his shoulders, referring not just to P-a-B and Choujin Enma, but also to someone else who isn't present. He asks Nemesis to listen, as he will surely hear that person's voice.

Neptuneman then tells Nemesis that since he is a former Large Number too, he can lend him his support. Today, Nemesis shall defeat Kinnikuman, for the restoration of the Perfect Choujin World!

I have a problem following this arc: If Peek-a-Boo and Neptuneman want to defeat Suguru, why have they helped him train for this fight? To ensure a match in equal conditions? To open Nemesis' eyes in order for him to learn to trust others and achieve their sought-after Perfect reign? Did they change their opinion in mid-match watching that Nemesis has an actual reason to fight and see him as a "good-intentioned extremist"?

Can anyone help this confused fan?

The only thing I'm clear about is that Nemesis has turned out to be a pretty awesome character, formerly a good man and peace seeker who turned cold and ruthless, but still has his good reasons to keep fighting. At last Yudetamago have created an almost perfectly neutral Choujin.

I was actually hoping Neptuneman would be used for something involving the restoration of the Perfects. I always liked the ring of "The New Perfects" myself.
