Might explain the Devil tail he used to have. He did have one right? I didn't imagine or dream it?

When he first appears uncloaked in the manga, Omegaman is drawn with a tail.  But then in the next chapters he doesn't have a tail anymore.  The anime version of Omegaman never had a tail as far as I remember.  Here is a picture from his first appearance in the manga:

Oh wow, good memory. I googled for a while yesterday and couldn't find any evidence of a tail. Then I checked all my Scramble for the Throne episodes and saw he didn't have one.

 

Interesting. I'm keen to see what the deal is between Satan and The Omegaman. I wonder if they've always been in cahoots!

See I knew I didn't imagine or dream it! Also I've just realized how incredibly inconsistent Omegaman's design is. Sometimes he doesn't have the hand on his head, sometimes his shoulder pads change(I prefer the rounded ones), and so forth.

 

Also, Satan and Omegaman are starting to get new fan art on Pixiv.

Ya know how they were saying Omegaman was supposed to be dead? What if Satan has revived dead Chojin to serve him? The New Devils mention how much effort Satan had to go through to assemble them, so it may have been some kind of divine effort on Satan's part reviving dead Chojin. Also, you know how I mentioned how I'd like to see Neptune King either team up with or fight his mentor Psychoman? What if Satan revives him as Grim Reaper? I always thought it was bit of a waste for the Grim Reaper persona to just be discarded, especially since his moveset was a bit different in that form, particularly, his knife hat and his "ghost" powers, such as his teleportation and intangibility.

 

Another thing I've been thinking about is what other older characters they could bring back as New Devils. Devil Magician for example. I do expect some new characters, however.

 

I also want to see the three Perfect Chojin who revived Neptune Man show up and do something, that is, Great Hurricane, Fishingman and Catchman.

2. Apparently they are all from the same planet Omegaman is from, and they have an "Omega" thing going on.

I think the Frost guy is gonna be the one to fight Wolfman, as he didn't showcase his abilities just now.

It seems like it's Omegaman's evil(er?) twin; his full name is "Omegaman Aristera" (and they seem to have retroactively called the original one "Omegaman Dexia"). The main differences seem to be that the hand thing on his torso is from the opposite side, and his mask has angrier eyeholes.

That's really disappointing. Would it have been that much of a stretch to have Satan revive dead people? Even Akuma Shogun could do that.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with the twin thing though if the original does come back, however. Possibly as part of a returning Team Super Phoenix or as a Perfect Chojin, as you may recall he once served Chojin Enma.

From what I read online (Google Translate), aristera and dexia are Greek for left and right respectively. That would explain the hand swapping. Also, the Latin word for left is sinister, making it fitting for Omegaman Aristera to be more "evil" or "sinister" looking. Just a fun fact.

Meh! It was a good chapter, but I feel they killed the suspense with the mass reveal. The character designs all look like fan submissions, and not the best ones!

 

Let's hope Wolfman can take out at least one of them before re-inforcement turn up. Hopefully that will come in the form of Nemesis / Peeka Boo? Maybe even Ataru?!?!

Is there anywhere I can actually see fan submission Chojin? Also I thought the new evil Chojin were pretty rad. :s

 

I would have been disappointed that no returning characters were amongst them, but I'm not because I'm sure there are more characters coming.

 

And another thing. Did anyone else see the Jack Frost guys eyes as whole instead of multiple circles? See the pic below for what I first saw.

I was a little disappointed to see that they were just multiple small circles afterwards, because I think he looks better this way instead. Makes it look like he's got more of a big, menacing grin.

The new chojins are pretty cool, but not a single returning character or character related to someone from Nisei like Ricardo's father...so sad.
