BBTS just added a ton of new SKUs so it looks like the next wave is on it's way.

Awesome!  Thanks for the info.  I wonder if they'll start in September and release the figures in a similar fashion to the past year.  Pretty excited to see some of the new characters!  Keeping my fingers crossed for the salmon to show up early...

Were they taken down? Or are Jkaris & Glass talking about the same ones Vaal pointed out while Draznar's talking about something completely different?

I'm talking out of my ass. The anime has crab and octopus characters so I assume they'll end up as figures, and that's what I'm waiting to be released.

FINALLY the box from Japan holding the Black Version set and some other Beast Saga figs I was still missing arrived.

Thanks to customs it took almost a month but luckily I wasn't charged with the import tax proportionally to their invested time :)

I'm stunned by the Orca who's pretty awesome in reality while on the pics he looks a little flat/plain in color. But with some good lighting.......

Attached File  Black Orca.jpg   289.18K   48 downloads

(Stole the pic from my Instagram (Beastformers) as it was easier this way this time)

Only strange thing I notices is that this Orca is the only figure which doesn't have its emblem on the normal side of the dice as its only present on the little round thing within these new dices. Have another package of these and it looks like its the same thing there as well, any others who have this as well?

Both the Gator and Shark do have the bigger emblem on the normal side of that strange new dice.

Yeah I mentioned that a while ago when I got my set.  I thought it was odd that the Orca's dice was made that way.  It bugged me at first but its not a big deal now.  I just wish he would have gotten more paint apps like the other two.

HLJ has BS47 available - $23 (roughly) including shipping from Japan.

http://www.hlj.com/p...ct/TKT48516/Sci

They also have BS55 for preorder for about $33 shipped, which is much better than BBTS's price of $37.99 plus shipping.

These new versions look kind of cool, but I can't say I'm really feeling the new style dice.  I kind of wish they'd let the whole 'battle game' element of this line die, and focus on more figures and ziprotos.  I hope some new beasts are coming soon, odd that they'd flood the first part of the year like that with them, then just not announce any new characters.

Agree with you! I also got the box with the Tiger, Panda and Cat in it and the Tiger also has some kind of special dice sort of like a semi Rubix cube kind of thing. Assume these are nice additions to the game but I'd rather see them invest some more time on the other fields of the design.

By the way my Black Version Orca doesn't even have its own symbol on that strange dice as it is some of the other fish being represented.

I need some help, in the first wave of blind box figures, the dolphin and bat had a gold dice chase version and the shark and the lion had a gold foil card version. In series 2 and 3 what were the chase figures?

Why So BLUE? I displayed my beast saga figures and noticed 18 of the 39 figures armor are some shade of blue, very little varience I didnt notice till i grouped them together. they need more colord like the old battle beasts

Yeah, it seems like they are using a lot of blues and reds in this line. I understand thematically that a lot of the water tribe beasts are blue, but it also seems like a lot of the land tribe beasts are also blue. We have a few purple and green here and there, like kangaroo, panther, sugar glider, etc... But I would like to see more variety in the colors. I want to see oranges, yellows, pink/peach, greens, etc ...

There's a thread for that :) http://www.littlerub...howtopic=155774

Also, totally agree about the clear Manta Ray. One of my favorite figures so far! I've said it before but overall the clear variants remind me more of the original BB figures. Love em! :D

Had some time to look back at the Tokyo Toy Show of 2013 held almost a month ago but were the TOMY Takara booth was something we'd all been looking forward to about a year ago there seems to have been ZERO attention for the Beast Saga line during that show. So while the 2012 Toy Show was actually our first real inside in this line with all of the now released figs shown there I sort of expected to see a 'follow-up' or the next batch of figs to be released. But since this was not the case, which in my opinion is a little bit strange if the Anime would've been the succes they claimed, we have to hope nothing is going wrong.

Because the slowed down releases of figs, which have been quite overwhelming from the beginning, is not a good development for a succes line I'd say and a Toy Show like the one in Tokyo is certainly the place to be to keep the boost amongst this line going so maybe the sales haven't been as good as they hoped for!?!?

Its hard to predict but this 'break' of releases somehow doesn't feel right, lets hope I'm wrong and they just have a long summer break before the next batch will be spread because in the Anime there are still quite some interesting figs passing by of which I don't have a figure yet ;)

I'm really hoping that they're just taking their time.

Maybe they're planning all the figures to release them in a flood like they did with the first sets?

I thought those things were flying off shelves? Maybe if Hasbro had been on the ball and picked them up for North-American release it would be bigger? :/

I've also been suspicious that something was up since the release date of the collector's case was pushed back twice on Amazon JP so far. On September 30 the collector's case, Wave 4 blind boxes, and dice boosters are supposed to be released, so unless something crazy happened and the line was suddenly canceled, I'm anticipating that there will be 3-4 more beast figures released alongside these and that we'll hear something sometime within the next month or so.

Here's an odd thing ;)

It translated as "candy toy"...

Due in September I think. They must be doing another big push then.
