I wanna get hopeful about Seiuchin (again), but I'm sure it'll be quashed somehow (AGAIN), like the letter being trashed by someone, or Seiuchin being reminded of how Mantaro was a jerk.

Well, Hell Expansions vs. Super Trinity is finally over. This match was emotionally exhausting..Jade's beaten to the ground emotionally and physically but still has a smile on his (intact) face, Mars is the 4th victim of the OF Cross Bomber, and after half a million teasings we see a REAL shred of the old Seiuchin.

The only panels of these I don't get is 2 and 6. I'm thinking that #6 is Jade starting to explain how he got Mars to revert from his Madness Mask (even if that isn't shown in the frigging panel xD).

You wanna know what amazes me about superhumans? They can be beaten down, hanging onto life by a thread, and/or currently dying (though some cases they're saved) and yet within a few days to about a week (if you judge time in that perspective when they change episodes or chapters/issues, they're as good as new as if nothing happened to them.

Whatever the case, eventhough Jeager maybe able to recover just like that, he doesn't deserve that kind of torture. If I were in his place, I would have tried to come up with a new tag team combo with my teammate. (unless they've already done that???)

However, all hope is not lost for everyone. Our heroes can play the time game, where they can go FURTHER back in time and try to prevent those injuries from happening, AND, prevent the faceless victims AND any chance of Wally going psycho. Though, perhaps Wally going evil for this segement of the manga might be the only thing keeping him from losing.

Looking at it both ways, Wally becoming good means he wouldn't have done that to Jade and Mars, but Wally going evil means he wouldn't be much of a good teammate for Neptuneman. Basically, your screwed both ways. (I know, that didn't sounds right, XD sue me.)

Being a writer of both Mars and Jeager, I can tell you what I think he did to revert the Mask of Madness. Even despite Mars' evil intentions and past, Jeager knows deep down there's some good inside him. Jeager is being understanding and giving him a second chance. I don't think Mars is used to that kindness.

I remember in the Demon Seed Saga, Mars was so happy when the crowd was cheering for him while he was fighting Ashuraman and Boltman. He flashed back to his fight against Mantaro, where the crowd was against him for being with the dMp.

And that's probably why Wally seems a bit shaken up too. Jeager's knows Wally isn't really evil.

Miss Mothra: I do agree in the quick recovery's; I think the most extreme version of this was during/after the Gen-EX saga in the Manga; just before Mantaro's match with Crione Man, they showed Seiuchin so injured and weak he was unable to speak, Gazelleman had been sliced practically in half, and Terry the Kid had FLATLINED on the operating table. Yet after the Mars/Mantaro fight all three were out partying? At most, maybe a week had passed? Not that anything in UM is realistic, but that's kinda far-fetched even by those standards... I wonder how long it took for Jade to rehabilitate his arm too, considering he was participating in the Chojin Olympics less than half a year later? xD;

And yeah, Jade just got suckerpunched in this saga even moreso than usual; between the mental issues of watching his Lehrer get HIS arm ripped off, and having his memories ripped apart and reglued together, and the physical issues of getting whipped around by Neptuneman/Seuichin during the memory reno plus getting his eyes ripped apart and nearly losing his face. I still can't quite decide which of team Super Trinity got the shorter end of the stick, though I think Jade would win that (at least he won ONE matchup xP)...

God, I kinda hope they DON'T pull the 'go back again' trick. I don't think I could relive this even if it were changed. D: And I'd rather have Wally lose every match than this; I like Jade and Gazelleman despite thier losing streaks; I DO NOT like Evil Wally and wouldn't even if he won the bloody Chojin Olympics.


Knxuie: God bless Jade's eternal optimism, no matter what kind of trouble it gets him into; those foster parents brought him up right. <3 I was somewhat right about Jade being the one to get to Seiuchin, even if it wasn't a full return (I think others mentioned it too xD). I wish I'd been here when the Demon Seed Saga was going on, I'd love to see Mars' reaction to that (and would've made his attitude in this saga make more sense to me. ^^

I think they heal fast because they're chojins. Unless chojins are not even supposed to be just fine and dandy so soon too. e_e;

Since ChibiBee wasn't sure about the panel 2, I think what happened is that Neptuneman deepened the wounds as a punishment/torture whatever because they both didn't successfully remove Jeager's face all the way through. Just an opinion. ^^;

Other than that, I can't figure out what else to say. I like to know what they're going to do with Mars and what happens to him too. e_e;

You see, this is the one reason I love the anime more then the manga, I love the characters more and they aren't treated like crap so much, dub AND SUB. Besides, I love when everyone besides Gazelleman got all teary-eyed when Gazelle won his first (not really his first, but...) match aganist the Poison Six Pack. I seriously don't care if that part of the anime was filter, I loved it to bits. However, nobody will beileve me because I'm male, and I also liked that part of the anime because of the girls' jungle outfits.

*sigh* Being a Nisei fanfiction writer is hard work due to all the loveable characters... make one character OOC and you are torn apart like a rotting corpse amidst a huge pack of wolves. -_-;

Knowing Yude with the anime, he may have Kid go against a harsh adversary (maybe Neptuneman and Wally more than likely) and when all hope is lost for Kid, all of the injured and mostly alive chojins that were Kid's friends are gonna limp their butts to the match and cheer him on. It happened with Team AHO when Kid went against Hydrazoa, and it happened with Jeager, Meat, and some other Chojin Crown participants when Kid was facing Kevin Mask. So the next match Kid is in, especially if it's against Wally and Neptuneman, someone's gonna come limping to the ring and cheer him on.

See, sometimes if you pay real close attention, Yude repeats himself a few times with how the storylines go, so there are some cases where a few things can be pretty predictable. ^^;
