Omegaman successfully becomes a Perfect Huge Number. So did they retcon him originally being one of "Neptune King's Perfect Chojin" ? Because I'm thinking for that they could have had him originally seek out Neptune King thinking he was the real deal, before eventually finding his way to the real Perfect Chojin.

That's a fair point. The Perfect arc had a lot of both, but it seems This arc has so much back story so the fights get watered down at bit. Kinnikuman vs Pirateman was a bit disappointing when they spent 1 chapter fighting then 3 chapters with backstory then 1 chapter finishing it. <- not actual numbers

We get to see whether the new move hit its mark, but we also get to see more backstory about what's going on with the tower.

 

In other news, however, apparently the current Yahoo! Japan bookstore is shutting down on March 28, and is being replaced with a new bookstore service called "ebookjapan". I'm assuming the manga would be available through that new site, but only time will tell.

I think there's a very remote possibility that this Kinnikuman Soldier is not Ataru Kinniku, and I have five suspects: Justiceman, Robin Mask (resurrected who knows how), Choujin Emma, Neptuneman (called up by Emma) and the original Kinnikuman Soldier.


However, the most possible option is that this is Ataru, and I'm so happy to see him back.

Finally! Thanks! Break must have been due to Golden Week in Japan. Also, agree, a tag match between Suguru and Ataru vs Omegaman and Mariquitaman would be very awesome!!!

 

Isn't this month the 40th anniversary of 1st serialization?? It started May 1979 right? Really surprised there hasn't been any huge fanfare! That's massive.

My money's on Neptuneman. Whilst he did appear in the previous arc to help train Kinnikuman, I don't think we've seen him fight since he was The Samurai in the Throne Arc.

 

Seeing him in a tag match with Ataru means every returning character has now fought at least once in the revival series!!
