Chp. 273: And so with that nightmare over, we'll never have to put up with that much stupidity in this series ever again for the rest of our li-(sees Super Phoenix in the final panel)-OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!: http://mangahelpers..../releases/15155
And with that, we're finally finished the Tag arc! And likewise...it's time for me to take a long-deserved vacation! I do hope to get to the Throne arc eventually but I think I just want to collapse after all I've been through and work on some other manga for a while. I do want to give my thanks to everyone who has been patient with me and who has let me do as much as I have...let alone make all these double posts like I'm talking to myself...maybe I am talking to myself...echo echo echo echo...

It's a sordid compromise: you trade in Iron Sweat for magic pieces of paper that make you eliminated from existence when burned...yeah, Yude were probably really going nuts by the point they thought those up.

In their defense (which I hardly ever do, if you forum ghosts read the manga thread), it was a good drama device that didn't make us groan. It's a sordid compromise: you trade in Iron Sweat for magic pieces of paper that make you eliminated from existence when burned...yeah, Yude were probably really going nuts by the point they thought those up.

*hands Ataru 10000x internets* You are awesome, man.
Thanks...I'll hopefully get to my version of the Throne soon enough though but I just need a long-deserved break after all I've put up with.
And while I haven't read the Demon Seed arc (and only know of the Throne from what I've glanced at the raw scans), I just sort of wonder why the heck Yude gets a bit obsessed with gimmicks as such to add to the impact of a fight. Yeah, they'd probably be "normal wrestling matches" without them...but in Kinnikuman, they're never normal.

Chapter 251: Notice how nobody even pretends like Mongolman's identity is a secret?
http://www.megalopuad.coc/?d=XG7XFYF2
I'm still shooting to finish this arc in early September.
And yet several chapters earlier they were all like "it could be...HIM! (picture of Ramenman appeared)" You know for some reason if there were more Choujin with Ramenman-like heads in this series (and if it weren't for the way he went down), it wouldn't be so obvious as it is.

...so no Kinn_Lady with you and Gonbefan?

Ataru, I'll try and pay you back for all you've done.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I think I want to break from all Kinnikuman fer the moment. I do maybe want to do Lady (unless someone else wants it) but with too much else on my plate (trust me: chp. 1 of KochiKame has been a nightmare and I may regret doing it), it may just be an after thought for the moment.

Chapter 252: Screw you too, Yudetamago. That was the hardest chapter to edit in a long time.

Saw which chapter it was...yeah, its the one I hated too, if only for screwing with the timeline of this series. (probably some other things too but can't quite remember) I can't wait to hear what you hate about this chapter, Tash.

Plus, on a more technical standpoint, two full pages of text on pictures to redraw so it took forever. Overall, it was a very painful four hours.

I hated the fact that Mongolman's backstory left out so many important details. No real elaboration about why Ramenman felt the need to keep his identity a secret, or even why he kept leaving so suddenly after every appearance. I know Kinnikuman had a theory a few arcs ago about Ramenman taking up the new identity in order to throw away his killing moves, but Mongolman doesn't seem to mind telling everyone he's a Brutal Chojin (or almost killing Kendaman and Screw Kid). Instead, we're left to assume that the whole Mongolman identity was just because Ramenman felt like it.
Plus, on a more technical standpoint, two full pages of text on pictures to redraw so it took forever. Overall, it was a very painful four hours.
Unfortunately I think the whole reason behind Mongolman acting like that was to make him "a mystery". Similarly, I never really though before that he really wanted to abandoned being a Brutal Choujin, considering he was embracing it way back when Kendaman and Screw Kid showed up. I always saw him (well more Ramenman) as this obsessively "honorable brute" who did violent things but still played by the rule. (so he wouldn't be a Devil)

Also, that first panel in the hospital had more meaningful character interaction than this whole arc has.

Well for one thing, they finally remember that Bibimba was there...except they soon forget again for the rest of the arc.

At least Sayuri gets more prominence again once the Throne starts.

Chapter 254: Did Doctor Plot Device just become the most interesting character in the series? How the heck did that happen?
