Well, I swung back at that wal-mart today, and bought the last 13 packs they had...and sadly had to leave the 14th, cause someone opened it and stole some figures out.

I think I'm missing like 45 figures now, and have plenty extras for trade when you slackers finally get these things in your areas. :) Hopefully they are a big enough hit to warrant their own place on the boards. Someone else bought some of these things, cause about a third of them were gone. I think there are 4 sculpts I don't have any of yet, Hawkeye, Mandarin, Classic IronMan, and Crawling Spidey. Which isn't bad I guess for 16 packs. I had took some pics of the figures from my first 3 packs the other day for my own review, but now I'm tempted to just delete those and take some new ones.

I have all 3 colors of these figures right now.
Nick Fury, Beast, Green Goblin, Dr. Doom, Black Panther, Iron Man Mark I, Sabretooth
Classic Hulk, Abomination, World War Hulk, Dead Pool, Absorbing Man, Red Hulk, Juggernaut, Hulk Buster Iron Man

Really alot of those are my favorite figs too. I only have 1 or 2 colors for the remaining sculpts. So if you stumble upon a good case assortment, about $100 bucks purchase will net you 128 figures, and about 2/3rds of the set. And really taking into account the pretty solid $.50-$1.00 per muscle these days isn't a bad price for a new Little Rubber Guy collection. I only have 2 figures out of all of them so far that won't stand, and they both are NightCrawler. And I have like 5 Nightcrawlers now.

I think I somehow altered some kids future timeline by buying them all! Now some random child who would have had their daddy purchase them a pack of Handful of Heroes will have never known the joy of owning small mono-colored miniatures himself. :( Oh well! More for me! :woot:

But anywho, these guys are really cool, and interestingly enough the Spider-man sculpts are pretty rad! So far there are only 2 figures I really don't care much for, and those are Green Goblin and Armageddon.

And to confirm that the Hidden figure appears to be random, 6 of the hidden figures I got were also found unhidden in the bubble in other packs. Also one of my Absorbing Mans has part of the Runner still attached, the overflow point I believe.

Hope the second series is out sometime next year.

I don't know about you guys but I am really excited about these! They are just like old Muscles but they are made with Marvel Characters! When do they make a forum for them haha!

On an other note... Disney to buy Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion... what do you think about that too? ;)

I think The Punisher will soon end, as well as many of Marvel's made-for-adults titles in the Max (or whatever the current equivilent is) line.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

after having a few days to play around with these little guys i have some cheers and jeers. first of all, for the most part, the detail is great. and i've already got a small platoon of faves:
greengoblin
dead pool
doctor octopus
classic iron man
hulk buster iron man
juggernaut
rhino
beast
angel
and two that really surprised me when i realized how much i liked them, iron man mark 1 and hawkeye. just something about those two really catches my eye.

the rest are all great too, but those are my faves. as for stinkers:
magneto
venom
nightcrawler
abomination
these are all stinkers for various reasons. abomination mostly because of his stupid galactic heroes pose. stupid hasbro. venom would be fine if they'd tone down my crazy jaw line. i'll never forgive erik larsen for that. damn his eyes. magneto is one of the most uninspired figures i've ever seen. and as the leader of the brotherhood, he deserves a much more powerful representation than that. i feel like i'm going to break the damn thing just looking at it from across the room. holding it i can tell it's sturdy, it doesn't give much when i flex it, but it sure as hell looks like it's weak. i only have him in clear though (twice!) so maybe the solid figure looks better. as for my gripes with night crawler, they begin and end with his tail. i'm sure they did prototype tests with his tail free of his left leg that didn't turn out right, but he still seems odd with his boner foot. i think i would have rather they had it lying flat than "erect" as it is. maybe even missing would be an improvement. then you'd get the whiny fanboys crying like little bee-eye-itches because he didn't have a tail. shut up bee-eye-itches. no one wants to hear you speak. the little bastard doesn't even stand well. stupid tipsy figure.

what's funny is that all of my doubles, except for iron man mark 1, are of the figures i don't like. nightcrawler excluded because i only have one of him.

hey, here's a fun fact. well, fun for you, excruciating for me. these work as excellent caltrops. my nephew was playing with these in our tv room. little did i know that sabretooth was waiting for me quietly in the middle of the rug. the rug which is the perfect color allowing him to blend in seamlessly. thus, i slammed my foot down hard on him after tripping over my squirrely nephew. it was almost like my wife had stabbed me in the bottom of the foot with a butcher knife. it was not good. on the bright side, i gave sabretooth the 215 lb press test and he came through unscathed. which is more than i can say for my foot.
