yeah I just read the japanese page (translated with babelfish), could it be pandaman again?Wouldn't know. Haven't seen the picture. Someone may scan it, though.

Watching the video again, in the part they show the selectable characters there's one character I cannot recognize, it's right between suguro and mantaro, do you know who that is?

maybe, but I doubt they'd put the random button between the 2 kinnikumans right at the center, but who knows, as for the tournament mode I hope this time it'll be a long tournament, in the previous games after 3 matches you were already the champion.I thought that it might've been "Random select".
EDIT: here's the pic where I pointed out the unrecognizable character http://img101.images...immagineis7.jpg
does any of you know who he is?

2 days left and we'll find outI was thinking it might be random select too. It kinda looks like a guy in a hood to me, like the guy you see towards the end of the long vid. Either that, or it kinda looks like Turbinski....which would make no sense.

I checked again the japanese page of wikipedia traslated with a better translator and it says that barrier freeman is also among Gen 2, here's what came outWhen I was checking the Japanese Wikipedia page for the game, it lists Kinniku Ataru/Soldier as one of the characters. There's also something that was in V-Jump that states that the 33rd character is someone from Kinnikuman Nisei (but was a Sillouhette).
New generation
*
KIN meat 10,000 Taro (new costume)
*
Cabin mask (a mask and armor are black (2P color of KIN meat man muscle Generations ))
*
The Terry THE kid (new costume)
Jade (with no helmet)
*
a scar -- face (exaggerated body)
*
Checkmate (the color of costume is the black keynote)
*
IRYUHIN (a bodily color is the light-blue keynote)
* Barrier-free man (a diaper is yellow)
EDIT: as for the precise number of selectable characters so far we've gathered 32 (barrier freeman excluded) if you take a look at the pic I posted up here we have 2 lines of 17 characters, 17+17=34 (33 if that strange figure is really a random button but I doubt it, I'd go for 34 cuz it'd make more sense), if we add barrier freeman we have 33 characters, + the hidden character 34 in all, it matches the number, Unless the hidden one is barrier freeman himself, or maybe there's one more.

the 34th character could be this infamous hidden nisei character, that explains why there's no room for him on the page, by the way it's weird they haven't added eskara, checkmate, turbinsky and kinnikuman soldier on that page yet, as you said anything may change on the site but bear in mind that the game will be out tomorrow, I doubt there'll be significant updates after that.Well, not that it means anything, since the site can be adjusted, but on http://www.kinnikuma.../ps2/chara.html , there is room for 33 characters. 34 would place something over the copyright info, or whatever that is at the bottom.

thanks for the menu image, did u manage to see how many characters are available at the beginning? I know PS2 emulators suck so that might be hard to do, anyway like skulduggery asked, where did u get the ISO from?Ok, I got my hands on a bootleg copy. That middle character is definately random select. I'm going to check the rest of the game out a bit, but it runs like shizznit on emulator, and I don't have a controller, so I don't know how much I'll do before getting sick of it

by beating the 2 storymode you'll surely unlock some characters, but not all of them for sure, someone who knows japanese should make a FAQS, did you figure out what those 3 writings mean? could one be the alternative costume? The characters available from the start are: Jade, Sunshine, Ashuraman, Ninja, Warsman, Robin Mask, Terryman, Kinnikuman, Mantaro, Kevin Mask, Ramenman, Buffaloman, Pentagon, Wolfman, Broken Jr., and Terry the Kid. 16 in total.they musta read my previous post, the site has been update again with the remaining characters, plus kinnikuman soldier is in the homepage now instead of the 7 devil chojins.

Alternate costumes are selected by pressing square instead of circle. Still have no clue what the words mean. Perhaps they are like a character handicap setting like many fighting games have?by beating the 2 storymode you'll surely unlock some characters, but not all of them for sure, someone who knows japanese should make a FAQS, did you figure out what those 3 writings mean? could one be the alternative costume?

I tried the three options, but with how slow it runs on emulator, it's hard to notice any difference.you should try each of the 3 words and see if you notice any difference

Barrier-Free Man would be interesting. One could shift from one character to the other.
EDIT: One more thing! What's the intro like, if you could show it?
