A report from one of the location tests!
From: http://rbgarou.fc2web.com/nikuroke.htm
Opening
- Theme is Kinnikuman Go Fight! (1st Opening Theme)
- Intro shows Mariposa, Big Body, Soldier, Phoenix and Kinnikuman in that order
Character Select screen apparently has been updated.
System Changes / Additions:
Dash Throwing - You now have dash throws / grapples, this is demonstrated in the promo video with Mantarou doing a shoulder throw off his dash.
Position Change (44R) - Like in the T5 games, you can now reposition your opponent.
Other Stuff:
- Damage is lower compared to MGP1/Max.
- Longer recovery time when doing tension gauge cancels.
- Throws apparently now take 2 tension stocks. ???? I think they mean the special throws requiring no less than 2 tension stocks probably.
- Tension gauge cancels have been changed, people at the loke don't know for sure, but they do know that Kinnikuman has changed from the first game.
- Kinnikuman vs Super Phoenix results in ZuDaDan! Kinnikuman (4th Opening Theme / Op Theme for Scramble for the Throne Series) playing in the background.
- Link for said opening.

- He doesn't have many throws, but he does have many striking attacks and he is quite fast. Also he has air throws.
- You can do his specials from his main strikes. Only his super throws are guaranteed.
- In one of his specials he gets fire, just like in the series when he uses the Anoana Staff.
- His Flying Technique is done the same way he did when he fought Robin in the series.
- He has the switching places thing apparently like Pentagon, The Ninja and Brocken Jr.

I was wondering what move they'd use for Super Phoenix's other super... that's a pretty cool choice, actually.
Maaaaann I can't wait for GP MAX 2.
edit: I'm guessing Super Phoenix's 2P will be the purple form.. where he takes the powers of all 5 of the evil gods.

I love the way the character select screen is set up; like the Muscle Prophecy book, pages flip as you pick your character and everything. It looks like Mongolman and Ramenman aren't separate characetsr afterall... the hooded costume is called "Messiah" (in english and everything). It looks like Kinnikuman's default costume is the red/black KIN one (my favorite). It looks like the character select screen just has everyone from MAX and the 5 princes... so they're probably holding out on the other characters as well. I notice two available slots, though... we'll probably see everyone's favorite Kanpeki Choujin duo in the game.
Gameplay looks much tighter. Attacks do far less damage, so it looks like matches are much longer. There was some special combo thing that Ramenman was doing that I didn't quite grasp... but it looks cool. The health and special bars look much fancier and cooler.
Man I can't wait for this to get released and subsequently ported!

The main site has some stuff about the AOU 2007 demo... including a video of a contest with gameplay footage!

Site's been updated... it lists all of the characters and their moves, with two shadowy and still "secret." But yeah, definitely looks like we have Neptuneman and Big the Budo this time (awesome!)
There's pages with the game system, and a bunch of other things. The main page has videos of the Princes' supers. And there's a trailer (I think it's an old one, but there's stuff in it I don't remember from before).
And the new stages are awesome... the floating cube ring Soldier and Super Phoenix fought on, the ring Kinnikuman and Super Phoenix fought on, and the Palm of Hercules from Nisei.
I can't wait for the inevitable PS2 port.

And here's a Terryman detail I LOVE that I never noticed before, even though I hate Terryman:
In one game clip of that trailer/info video, he has BUFFALOMON'S ARMS! LIKE IN HIS MATCH WITH ASHURAMAN!
That's such an awesome little detail I don't know what to think of it. I love it when game developers put in a bunch of things like that (hence why I love the One Piece: Grand Battle series; so much little details).

That's right! There's no more than 7 days till this game comes out in the arcades in Japan. It should be by then Neptuneman and Big the Budo should be revealed, I guess.
