What a SHAME.
Woke up at 3:15AM in the morning, i.e 9:15 PM EDT. At 9:28PM EDT the Glyos site started to heavily slow down and nothing could be displayed due to heavy traffic.
When I finally managed to reach the page and put the Armorvor figures in my cart they were already sold out. So I got nothing.
This is totally LAME.
In France it is now 3:45 AM. I woke up in the middle of the night to experience troubles with a site which cannot handle high traffic and I missed everything. This is not acceptable. I had the feeling to be on Mattycollector's website in the worst times.

Matt, if you are reading this you should seriously improve the things.
Having to wake up in the middle of the night to be here exactly at release time and being unable to buy what I want because your site fails is not part of the game, part of the thrill, part of the fun or part of whatever you want. This is just a pain in the ass and an unacceptable situation from a customer point of view.
The Glyos website should be able to cope with high traffic when such releases occur. Or change the way of getting these figures and initiate pre-order.

Well b00sted, since a few years I am into designer toys and especially neo-kaiju. Most of the time the releases consist of 10-30 pieces and are highly sought for, so you can imagine the thing ;-)
Such technical problems like the ones on Glyos website never occur.

I couldn't get it to load using Firefox, so I switched to Google Chrome and was able to snag two of each. By the time I thought to try for 1 more of each (for trade fodder) they were gone with the wind. Congrats to everyone who managed to get some!

Indeed they are mainly bigcartel and once it is in the cart you have 30 minutes to complete the purchase. So basically if you are exactly on-time you can expect to be able to grab the stuff.

FF was working fine right up until my clock hit 9:30 and I refreshed to see if new content loaded, then it just blanked out. Chrome remains my go to backup when trying to order time sensitive stuff, I always have it on standby for Matty sales as well, just in case...

None of Safari or FF were working after 9:30:01 PM...well to be honest it's been ages FF does not work fine anymore on old iMac computers :aggressive:
