I have many CASE FRESH 4-packs that looks the same. You should know what you're buying before you buy anything.

So this whole dispute is over $40 worth of 4-packs that Walbito55 claims are resealed?
Would Jasin76Basin be satisfied with accepting a return for ONLY the 4-packs and refunding $40 to Walbito in exchange for the safe return of the 4-packs?

Honestly no. When an auction is no return then a buyer wants a return on something he says was opened then sealed back when I know better....I don't like messing with eBay/PayPal garbage like this....that's why I do no returns and try to steer clear of eBay most of the time
I don't agree with ebay's/paypal's policy of emptying your paypal account to pay a buyer who mistakenly believes there's a problem with what he purchased. I don't believe there is ANYTHING wrong with what you sold. I think the buyer is wrong. And I think you are totally right to not offer refunds on your auctions because of nonsense like this. HOWEVER, if your choices are:
1. Withdraw all of your money from your paypal to avoid before forced to refund $250 to a buyer before ebay takes the money from you. That will result in ebay suspending your account, paypal closing your account, and it will force you to start all over on ebay and paypal.
2. Refund the buyer the $250 and get your items back. And HOPE that they are the same items and everything is fine.
3. Or, work out some sort of compromise. For example, your buyer has complained ONLY about the 4 packs in this thread. The buyer has never complained about the 10 packs. So, you might be able to work out a compromise of refunding only the 4-packs after they are returned to you and keeping the $210 from the 10-packs the buyer keeps while maintaining your ebay and paypal reputation.
I think ebay is wrong. I think the buyer is wrong. However, what's most important to you? You do have options.

There is a chance that he altered them... But, there is also a chance that he did not. When you get them back, post pictures, and I am sure the board would be glad to help look for any signs of funny business. The fact that the guy came on here, and defended his name/rep to all of us, makes me curious as to how this will turn out. It would suck if they were altered, as much as it would suck for this fellow to take damage to his reputation over a misunderstanding.

this is the exact reasoning that bricklink, once called brickbay, got started many moons ago. (they had to change their name from brickbay because a certain website didn't like them having that name)Threads like this need to start an underground movement AWAY from eBay. Organize dammit! Let's make a viable alternative. This monopoly sucks. Competition can only help our situation. Start small, like say all LittleRubberGuys pushing toward another service. Start small, like say all LittleRubberGuys pushing toward another service. Then recruit another site, then another...

I know that Ioffer.com & eCrater.com are some of the next down the ladder for auction sites. They're SO far down the ladder though, it's kind of like comparing a Mom & Pop grocery to Wal-Mart. I've bought one or two things from Ioffer years ago and didn't see any problem with it at all. The fees are WAY less than FeePay & it's much MUCH more two sided... without the big brother dictatorship in place. Plus you can pay with OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT BESIDES PAYPAL (like credit & money orders). The obvious problem though... it's basically IMPOSSIBLE to sell most stuff there simply because... there is nobody else selling there. Kind of like the perfect building with the perfect set-up... out in the middle of nowhere.
NOW...
For a small community like this one though, where the people who are bidding on most of the important lots are always the same people, I think it would be PERFECT. If someone say, put up a Class A lot (like that one up now), it's not like some guy who doesn't know anything about M.U.S.C.L.E.s is going to wander in and start bidding because he thinks they're "neat". It will likely be someone from around here who wins so there's no need to worry about someone not seeing your auction & bidding it up a few more bucks.
A few other things that may be BETTER than FeePay are the fact that (last time I checked) there are no auction fees until something sells. Meaning you can have something up forever and not pay a dime until it's SOLD. Also, the auctions would be more condensed. Instead of searching through 100's of pages of junk to find a good auction or two, it would all be right there in one spot... ready to sell.
I totally think YOU ARE ON TO SOMETHING Leitmotiv!
I think someone needs to post a new thread about it ASAP...

Next time don't spend money you're not willing to spend. Honestly, your remarks sound like someone who froze when you realized the money you're spending.
If it's not that, then you need to do some research in the area you're collecting before you start buying things. Your remarks are really uneducated. Jason has been nothing but a positive person to deal with on this board.

is my ebay auction i sold
see for himself, better example of your main picture 4 pack flesh muscle have a very big white line around the bubble, for me thats is proof of tampered, this pack are open and then resealed. if im wrong tell me. i have doubths and lost a lot of money for the same, years ago im collect hot wheels a lost money for the same.
Walbito, the auction said clearly, no refunds. You got exactly what was pictured in the auction, correct? If yes, that should have been the end of it.
Jason, having seen the auction picture, I can see how someone who is unfamiliar with 4-packs could think it was a reseal and been upset.
However, Walbito, you can see that white line on the 4-packs from the picture, so you shouldn't have bid on it then.
Jason, if he is sending the entire package back and it arrives exactly as you sent it, then you should refund him the price, minus your shipping costs. It's not your fault that eBay is forcing you to refund him, even though your auction said NO REFUNDS. So at this point all you can do is hope everything arrives in the same condition it left in. But I wouldn't refund the cost you paid to ship it.

Yeah basically PayPal locked down the entire 250 and when the delivery confirmation gets here it automatically goes to the buyer from what the eBay people said when I called them. I'm just curious if there's any way to sell on eBay and make sure no returns mean no returns.
No there isn't. Doesn't matter what you say in your auction. Ebay always allows for full refunds and in my experience it includes shipping costs.
