so for the past 3 years I've been a theater manager.

Originally I was an alarm technician, for about 10 years.
Went into maintanace after that,I'm sort of a Jack of all trades,
(master of some).
Still have my biggest toy,my music studio, have'nt done anything
interesting in about 4 years other than compose parts and peices,
more or less movie soundtrack-ish or can probably be used for
video game background,I'm into alot of new and oldschool techno.
TOPHER.
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

Wow this is cool, i posted that nearly three years ago. I have been working in the Medicine Intensive Care Unit (MICU for short) for two years now as an RN, and I am applying for Nurse Anesthesia school. I did the interview on August 18 and am now just waiting to hear back from Duke. Maybe another three years from now we will update this thread and I can say that I am a CRNA. That would be awesome.Im a senior nursing student, I plan to work in an ICU (hopefully cardiothoracic) when i graduate in may.

Sounds odd? let me explain... Say your'e a bigwig moneyman whose throwing a party to celebrate the all-powerfull green. Gonna need plants to dress that party up, and as richie-rich as you are, you wanna spend as much to have 30 palm trees in your house for a few hours as you could have bought them for.
Or your flying into Texas for a trade show. Gonna need plants for your booth, and sure not taking them back on the plane w/ you.
Or your'e Oprah Winfrey, doing a life opprotunity seminar @the DCC. Gonna need lots of plants for that stage.
The hours are crazy, since the "event" may be getting done @ 2 in the morn, or there may be 4 deliveries and 5 pick-ups all within a 7 hour period, or we might have a Mary Kay show to set up in Atlanta, and have to drive 40k in plants accrost 4 states to set up for 2 days and then drive back. Very stressfull.
Never even thought this kinda buisness existed before I got involved.

Alright most important I am a full time student working on my M.Div at MTS. I know it is not a job, but I will quit any job I have before I will quit school. Alright, my full time job is that of a sales representative for a local company. I also have a part time job that I work two nights a week to cover the s/h charges of my online business. As far as non-paying work I volunteer at a local food warehouse that serves the below poverty citizens of the community.

Heh.I work at Hollywood Video. I make $5.65 an hour. It's a pretty good job for now, and I get free movie and game rentals, which is bad arse. I think it will be interesting to see where everyone works at when they're not on the boards.
This is my job now, officially.
I make an even $6.
Then again, after taxes, I make $4.10...
And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I’m still in the same industry, consulting. I’m still a Bob.
I’ve finally changed employers. I work for a much large consulting firm now as the Consulting Services Manager. Basically I organize all the adjunct consulting that will be working on projects in the Great Lakes region.
The new job is much more stressful, but I think it’s because I’m still figuring out the best practices. Hopefully I’ll come back to this thread and laugh at what I said.

*Shrugs* As long as I'm not a Customer Service Rep, per se, I'm happy.
I was tied to the phone during the Katerina thing (When FEMA became overwhelmed, my service center was converted to FEMA for about a month or so. All those people who got claims they shouldn't have? *koff*koff*), and I was not happy about it.
Congratulations! Taxes, titles, licenses, and fees, not included.
My Live Journal. Because obviously you need to know how my day went. How's yours?
