[Stinger Wolf]

A rep from the Bluefin/Bandai booth at Anime Expo told me that they do not have the license to sell the S.H.Figuarts Kinnikuman line in the U.S. Meaning they could not sell them at their booth. But did say that more characters will be released for that line. Unfortunately I could not get any specifics from him.

Yeah, if Bluefin had the Kinnikuman license, we'd have gotten all of the figures out thus far, but we haven't gotten any domestically.

It is the same here at Spain. Distributors won't take Kinnikuman, even when they're selling all S.H. lines. So sad and frustrating.

Looks like Tamashii has announced the release of Buffaloman!! Releases in December for 7,000 yen along with a new display ring.

Kinnikuman (Scramble for the Throne Ver.) and Kinnikuman Soldier!! Gonna be picking these guys up for sure!! That brings the line up to 8 and still no Asuraman or Niku Great!!

Does this mean that there will be more Scramble for the Throne Characters? I can't wait to see who else comes out of the woodwork! This is shaping up to becoming an awesome line!

It's the little things, like Soldier including a folding chair... I knew this line would end up doubling down on Kinnikumen eventually, which isn't as exciting as a release like Asuraman, but I'm happy with these two new releases regardless.

With these 2 scheduled for early next year, I wonder how many we will get in 2016. There were 6 unique releases in 2015. I'm hopeful we'll see as many if not more for 2016.

Well based on the 2013 Manga poll and the 2014 Tamashii poll, Asuraman is for sure up there as the most popular character to be released next! I'm hoping a painted prototype is shown at Tamashii Nations next month!!

 

After that the list goes a bit like this:

 

Brocken Jr. - Would be a great entry, but tends to be the fodder of the Idol Chojin (along with Wolfman!).

Ramenman - Popular enough to warrant

The Ninja - Not a big fan personally

Terryman - The greatest Idol Chojin!

Kinnikuman Great - Already has a prototype so very likely! 

Blackhole - Was teased so hopeful this will become a reality!

Pentagon - Would be great to have the 4D Killer Combo!

Mammothman - Not finished Scramble for the Throne yet so can't comment

Sunshine - If we get Asuraman we need Sunshine to complete the Stray Akuma Chojin Combo!

Stereo Cassette King - As with The Ninja, I don't have any real desire to own figures of the lower ranked Akuma Chojin

The Omegaman - Not finished Scramble for the Throne yet so can't comment

Satan Cross - Not finished Scramble for the Throne yet so can't comment

 

Then You've Got the Less Popular Honorable Mentions:

 

Kinnikuman Super Phoenix - Whilst seemingly not the most popular character, if we're getting Scramble for the Throne Kinnikuman then we need the main antagonist!

Prince Kamehameha - As long as we get Kinnikuman Great I can pass on a figure of the Prince

Geronimo - I feel sorry for this poor fool.

Springman - As with the others, not interested.

Mongolman - Would be nice to have with Buffaloman as the 20 Million Powers

Big the Budo - No real desire

Wolfman - No real desire

I would love a Mountain, Big the Budo, and Sunshine. They need to make Atlantis, Sneagator, and Mr Karmen.

Just so i'm clear, are you referring to Kinkotsuman, Specialman and Canadianman? or Nisei characters? (I haven't read/watched Nisei yet)

Yes of course those were their names! I only know their Americanized names from the Ultimate Muscle games!

 

I am all about building a Kinnikuman collection that is SH Figuarts based! I love the articulation and likenesses! It looks like they are working on scaling which is good. I can't wait to see who else comes out!

I was watching episode 107 of the Kinnikuman Anime yesterday (Part 2 of the Dream Chojin Tag Arc) and noticed that the ring had 2 red posts and 2 blue posts:

 

 

This has just made it a lot easier to justify picking up 2 of the blue post ring corners to go with my current 2 red ones!! haha
