Vette, if he hasn't sent it already, request UPS or FEDEX. Those packages seem to go missing alot less than USPS, even with the delivery confirmation. >-<

Crud, I would have asked to ship it next day air or early a.m.! I'd want that thing this morning! >-<

As for UPS, I don't know how FedEx or USPS does their small packages. But UPS is supposed to bag all smalls packages. It makes it easier to track an enormous amount of smalls and prevents them from going missing....however that depends on who is running a facility. I know I sometimes get hundreds of un-bagged smalls packages at the end of the shift. I've even found smalls stuck in the ribs of the inside of trailers before. Dated 6 months ago eh? Bet they were missing this one.

I haven't had any bad luck sending/receiving stuff, but a few months ago a UPS guy stopped at my house to deliver something. I remember thinking that this was odd because I knew I hadn't ordered anything. I checked the address and told him he had the wrong address, but can you imagine the # of people who sign for the stuff? I remember it being a descent size box.

I've had them drop off a bed frame before. :D Imagine my surprise after hearing rustling at the front door to find a long @$$ package on the steps. Dude was already gone by the time I got there. Had to call them up and get them to pick it back up. :D Don't even know how he confused it, the road it belonged on was 5 or 6 miles away.

Never had good luck with UPS. At least where I live, they can never come when I'm not at work, the centers close too early too, and usually when you try to call so you can pick it up instead, it's in limbo somewhere. Also had one time where I asked them to redeliver to my neighbor, and the package disappeared. The tracking number even stopped working, like it never existed.

What you can do, is check everybody you know is shady ebay account. The user name is disguised but the feedback score is their actual score. so check the known accounts and see if any have that feedback score. goodluck

Interesting information I thought to share.

"That figure is an alternate version of mine, meaning it is not a variant, but it came off the other side of the muscle tree that it was attached to. There are suttle differences between the one you are getting and the one that I own. The differences are in the sculpt injection positions and other slight differences in the figure shape like body flange and horn shape. This was the 2nd known Dark Emperor find."

An idea that has been long supported. There are probably micrometer-measured differences in most of the figures, but not something that denotes a full sculpt variation.

Who is being quoted here? Is it the seller, Stark? He has two DE figures?

Alex

2 known to exist.

Also, see post #65 of this thread. I posted the guy's initial response after the auction ended. He sent this response without me asking anything. This guy obviously had no clue what he had until after the bids and questions started rolling in.

Interesting, if there were multiple branches, or even trees with this guy, you would think there would be more around. (I'll hafta do some reading of these old threads.)

Me asking the seller (email starts at bottom) if he could remember how he bought DE. Nothing concrete, but still interesting enough to share. I used Tortle's website to try to joggle his memory.

Sorry, dude, but I really can't remember for sure. It was so long ago. In know I had 4 of the 4 packs and a trash can that had 25. I think the colored ones came in the trash can, so I believe it came in one of the 4 packs. That is just a best guess. The ones you guys identified as fake (more flesh colored, less pink) probably came from the grocery store bumball machine type dipensers. Hope this is helpful.

I figure I would ask this one more time and attach pictures to jog your memory. Do you remember which pack the DE came in? Thanks
