i dont think that is a bootleg. isnt there a parody set of figures being stabbed? or something like that~?
Oh you might be right. I just used the google translator and it says:
Sunigeta of kin is Damejihirozu clap off. The color blue. It is very well made with a sense of volume modeling. The knife has stuck to the identity of Sunigeta design. Sunigeta I think this series does not come easily. If you were looking for, you have some?
Bad translation I know, but it does talk about the Sungieta series that is probably what it is.
A quick search also revealed this beauty! http://page9.auction...tion/k124717630

In fact, I would hope people still send pictures - even if the figure is already listed. At best, we might be able to put together special sections on specific figures. And worst case, we'll be able to put together a set that is made up of lots of different bootleg figures. I think the more diversity we have with figures and pictures the better the total collection will end up looking.

The head appears to be looking straight ahead, while normally the figure looks off to the side. I don't think a change like that could happen because of a molding problem.
Could this be a lazy Frankenstein-like Amalgam figure?

I'd need help from a Kinnikuman/Kinkesi expert to use anything from there. Anyone?

walker13.1:
Does the #141 have his eyes filled in?
If so, what does that make him? It's not a true copy and it's not an amalgam.
The closest fit might be an "original" sculpt, but maybe it's a new category – the lazy edit?
And if it is a lazy edit, then until more surface it should probably be categorized under original sculpts, right?
Vette traded this figure to me a little bit ago and he just showed me the questions that veers asked. So here is the answer:
Yes the #141 has filled in eyes but just barely! It looks as though someone took a needle and barely poked two small little indents close to the middle of his head that you can barely see. I hope that helps

At this point, it looks as if I am 27 figures short of a complete 233 set of bootlegs:
22
40
56
116
119
163
164
166
173
185
192
195
198
202
205
206
208
211
212
214
215
221
222
223
227
229
231
Of course this means that a new round of photos will need to be submitted to UofM, not only to update the virtual 233 collection, but also of a few more oddities I have stumbled across.

Here is some feedback from my research with a gumball figure brand. WRESTLING MONSTERS
M.U.S.C.L.E. Bootleg feedback
This also poses another question. Have they made bootlegs of the 29th anniversary set in Japan. hmmmmmm
Sadly #197 is in "The Wrestling Monsters" vending card which I have no plans of opening intentionally. Nevermind, I have read the post befiore mine!

Ill send some pics of my boots in my collection i have two 4" bootlegs. I call them ketchup and mustard. Does anyone else have any 4" boots? Mine have holes in the back i think for putting ur thumbs in to wrestle them.
Not sure if it's 4" or not but my brother has 1 of King the 100 Ton with a hole in the back... I love that thing & was wanting to steal it from him. He also has a Robotech one that I want to talk him out of one day.

I also have a King the 100 (Metric?) Ton thumb wrestler. Slightly less than four inches in height, he is of a harder, darker plastic than the usual 4" Keshi, and has the letter M on his chest instead of a T.
There appears to be a gumball card on ebay with a hot pink version of the same fellow, along with two other 4" bootlegs:

That seller has alot of cool gumball cards featuring Kinnikuman bootlegs. This particular one is of the few that are actullay a somewhat reasonable price.

I will say I got a Hong Kong figure despite his pale color he has the exact same toughness as a M.U.S.C.L.E.. He does not bend like other Hong Kong figures I have come across. In fact if I held a blindfold contest to seperate kinnikuman from M.U.S.C.L.E.s this #157 would end up in the M.U.S.C.L.E. group. Which leads me to speculate about super rares when I also have a hong figure somewhere that is soft rubber however has the pink color tone like M.U.S.C.L.E.s. If only the two were combined and a change in the lettering from Hong Kong to Y/S N.T.
Pics.

This group of figures will be the second prize in the Comedy Art contest!
