I Comend AKI and Bandai once again for making a game that has even surpassed it's Gamecube pretesessor by 20 to one. The gameplay is much more atentive and it gives both aponents a good fighting chance to win insted of (in the origenal)the powergage determined the match. The ground-moves where very good and well plased, but the Demo only had a 9-minute limit,so the CPU nor the player have the proper time to sumit someone in that time.
The game's demo didnt give much to offer character wise, all you can use is King Muscle, Kid Muscle, Terry Kenyon, Kevin Mask, Jeager, Hanzo, Shavato (Ashua Man), Mantioban (Canada man), Sasumi (Wolfman/Rikishiman) and Beetlebomb (Geronimo). Funny, the game also spots a Toy Collection mode (Just like the GC version)so for thouse who thought it wasnt going to be in it,it is.
HOWEVER
i'd like to also note the game's downfalls: the game lags too much for it's own good. The game slows down muchly when the characters do their specials (the game suffers threw a quick pause for like 2 seconds as it reads the move). The load time was the worst i've ever seen...the first load, when you boot the game, that load was the longest minute i've ever had to sit threw...I was ALMOST going to turn off the game at that point from such loadtime. The Actual game itself dosent suffer threw thouse issues though, the game-play glides on smooth like a Car with Armor All on,but the path it takes is a rocky one. I can see where reviewers gave it 6-7's now. The game is pretty good on itself, but the game suffers threw too much slowdowns and lack of any real extras that it's can turn off a casual gammer. For us Kinnikuman fans,it could be an extremely good reason to get a PS2 and this game.
Jagder's Early review gives this game a 7.5 out of 10
+New moves are VERY welcomed and very well plased.
+the new veriaty in characters is also a very welcomed to this game
-when this game lags,IT LAGS,and lags HARD.

Some,I dont know if all of it. Some of the Japanese review I read here all indicate the same downfalls I described. Who knows what could the U.S. version could offeryou think the lag/loading will be cleaned up for the complete release of the game?

EDIT: SPOILER!!
Mr. Barracuda, and Gold Mask Akuma Shogun are also Secret Characters, I'd also heard rumours about Kinnikuman Soldier and Kinnikuman Pheonix being in the game, but their just rumours.

yes, a variation of budo, neptune king! if you examine his head/hair shape it clearly is him, IMHO.I doubt that's Big the Budo as he already appears in the character line-up at the end, and several times before that (unless it's another variant character). The closest match I can think of is Omegaman, (who would make a good rival character for Kenkaman) but I got a C- on my final in Kinnikuman G1 101...
btw, kenkaman? awesome! (hulkamaniac = kenkamaniac!)

Anyway, when I'm off to my holidays to Cairo and Alexandria, I'd be keeping an eye out for either the japanese/english version of the game!

You'll notice that the name is, in fact, "Galactic Wrestling". The details also include a few screen shots.

I AM THE ULTIMATE KEVIN MASK FAN!

You mean the Mask Hunt, where you play as Neptuneman or Big The Budo! I think they'll just show you holding up the mask instead! It says ya have to steal opponents mask now if anyone has a pic of kevin mask un masked please let me know.
For future referance (when you get the game), people say that this is a tricky/annoying survival mode! You need to collect masks by finishing off the opponent with a special tag team move, but your partner uses a lot of level 2 moves! You could just give him some of your power, but it's just plain annoying! Also Neptuneman gets his power quickly, but Big the Budo slowly; and you must finish it with both characters and your health stays the same as well!
Either way, I'm gonna get the game (somehow), cos there ain't anything saying when it'll come out here [UK], and the NGC game hasn't come out either

Why would the quality of the game have anything to do with the TV show's schedule?Technically, I wouldn't even BOTHER to buy the game. It's gonna be terrible. So terrible, in fact, that Ultimate Muscle's Final Five Episodes would return ONLY FOR the Final weeks of Summer, Right before the launch of a new Fox Box season (Not of Ultimate Muscle)!

Well, I got the game tonight (I just got lucky from where I ordered it, I can't give out where I got it, though). It definitely doesn't suck. Keep in mind, I'm not a "gamer" but a fan of the toyline, so any new game would have been worth the money for me. I can tell you that some of you may find it uninspired (or worse).
There is a singles mode, to dispel that rumor. Some of the cool things are the new characters (of course), the grappling holds, the pin falls and it tells you what move you won the match with. Some of the negatives: the super-moves don't come across nearly as powerful as in the GC game, some of the voices aren't there (King Muscle sounds like a geriatric) and the cel-shading is definitely missed. There is some load time lag, but I'm not real impatient, some of you may be annoyed by this.
Keep in mind, I've only played it for an hour or two and unlocked one guy but I expect it will become essential to any fan that wants to see more of the characters in action. I just think it would have been better if they would have mimicked the Gamecube game, except added the positives listed above.... Let me know what you guys think when you get it.

Oh well I still plan to get it, I trust PSM's review, 7 out of 10 says so much more over that GI one, sounds like the guy was paid off by McMahon (still say it's his fault the manga isn't out, I watched Ultimate Muscle more then the WWE, that says something about the WWE as of late, specially now with some of the dumbest gimmick angles they have going right now (KANE BABY = WRESTLECRAP) )
Anyway It's on my get list load times don't bug me much, only thing that really bugs me in a game are INVISIBLE WALLS.
