I have thought about this whole "Kinnikuman characters aren't gay!!11" thing that has been brought up, and it comes from a very simple source: Fanfiction(dot)net. 80% of the entire section of UM fanfics are Shounen-Ai/Yaoi based, and there are only 5% of those fics that are readable and not written to please some random fangirl's fantasy. Add to the fact wrestling is considered kind of gay, the arguement of Kinnikuman being/not being gay will never end.
Let's say, for example, I use the scene that Jenny gave us in the form of Suguru giving flowers to Terryman. I don't understand Japanese well, but if some random fanboy/fangirl with hardly a brain in their head watches this thing, they will automatically thing those two are gay. Well, they aren't, Suguru and Bibinba (Mari if you watched the anime only) and Terryman/Natsuko; the rest, well, are up in the air. Except for some strange reason, some Japanese fan novel sites are pairing Brocken Jr. and Mari together... WTF? It depends on the persons tastes. There are some openly gay characters in anime, Gravitation being one of them (the manga was very good to me in my personal opinion, not because it was Shounen-Ai), and if Kevin Mask is gay, so what? He's still awesome.

It's kind of sad knowing that I'm more interested in talking about this topic then the manga, but that's Yude's fault; I'm STILL bitter over what they did to Jade and this arc as a whole. >(
