That said, it's taken 5 and a half volumes, but the Hell Missionaries come off as interesting villains for the first time. If they weren't so bland until now, they might have actually ranked up there with Akuma Shogun.

Finally, NEPTUNE KING!
Also, do Seigi Chojin have X-Ray vision? "Those are the eyes of Ramenman! Those are the eyes of Kenkaman!" They're wearing masks, damn it.

Chapter 265:

That's how I felt with this chapter too. And the worst part: it ultimately has no bearing for the rest of the match.
You know the problem with the Hell Missionaries is that Neptune King is hiding himself for so long that he literally has no personality as Big the Budo until he's (finally) unmasked...and at the same time, Neptuneman is going on and on being Hulk Hogan...then turns into a brat the moment Neptune King appears. There really is no consistancy for either of them.

NO. YOU CAN'T CONTROL YOUR FALLING SPEED DIRECTLY IN AIR. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY
I'd like to see a "Newtonman"...
... Reversing time by spinning Earth? IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT EITHER. Bring in Einsteinman.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)
I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

Is that chapter the end of vol. 22 or not?

Chapter 266: I'm sure you're all expecting me to take a crack at Neptune King's stupid plan, but unfortunately another question was nagging me the whole time I was working on this chapter:

What the hell is this thing supposed to be? Did Neptune King really expect to find a Chojin with a mask that'll fit on this thing?

Huh, I wonder if that was an original typo - Popularity contest says Improved Ashura Buster, but that's clearly a regular Ashura Buster...
All right, I hope we'll finally see some real KAJIBA NO KUSO... CHIKARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Yeah, that was Yudetamago's error, not ours. (to make matters even stranger, he's using it against the right person, just the wrong move)Huh, I wonder if that was an original typo - Popularity contest says Improved Ashura Buster, but that's clearly a regular Ashura Buster...
Chapter 267: Neptuneman loses the last shred of his dignity, complete with coughing up blood Bobobo-style.

That said, we're getting close to the Throne Arc. We were originally going to find someone else to work on it, but various things happened and I ended up back on it. If anyone has any objections, say so now.

Personally I don't want you doing the Throne for your health's sake. Besides, we need to sit on the arc for a while regardless: I finished the first volume finally and will be moving slow still for a bit longer, but next up for me (until I can find someone else to take it over) is more KochiKame. At least translating pop culture circa '76 can wipe the stupidity out...oh yeah, the first couple Throne fights are awesome so it's no real problem right now for me. (at least not yet)

NO DAMN IT. DEFIBRILATING DOES NOT REVIVE A STOPPED HEART. IT MAKES ALL THE HEART MUSCLE FIBRES BEAT AT THE SAME TIME, BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE, IT DOES NOT REVIVE IT
