NO DAMN IT. DEFIBRILATING DOES NOT REVIVE A STOPPED HEART. IT MAKES ALL THE HEART MUSCLE FIBRES BEAT AT THE SAME TIME, BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE, IT DOES NOT REVIVE IT

It did.

It's like those shock thingys they use to revive a dead person in hospitals.

I liked the way terryman revived, it's impossible but is Kinnikuman, so everything can be possible ^^

And Steacase King, you should take a rest, but please continue edtiting the manga, do like I do in Bo-bobo manga, 1-2 chapters per week^^

Don't overdo it for your health's sake ^^

Give it up. As much as I hated that moment, it was the only way this would prevent any stupid Terryman ghosts from appearing amidst all the other ghosts showing up at this point. And believe me, we didn't need even more of that crap.

I do feel a little guilty, as if I'd known things would get this bad, I would have refused your offer of letting me stop going over the translations.

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

For the last time, my health isn't nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. The eye trouble and hallucinations only happened because I made the mistake of trying to do 5 chapters a day (two days in a row). I never have any trouble as long as I don't try to do more than 3 a day.

Chapter 269: Yudetamago is just stalling for time at this point.

It's like those shock thingys they use to revive a dead person in hospitals.

That's defibrilating. If you use heart massage on a person, you can get the heart to flimmer. However, the fibres won't beat in pace, they'll beat randomly. So you use a defibrilator to reset them, which makes the heart beat uniformly. You CANNOT use a defibrilator on a stopped heart, it'll make the heart beat once and have no further effect, you'll have to apply heart massage first to get the heart to flimmer.

(My father's an anesthesiologist, he rages about that stuff in various movies and TV shows all the time)

I hope you don't mind me borrowing your lyrics Kenni, since it's the version more people are familiar with (and hopefully Ataru won't mind, either). Besides, I figure you'd get a kick out of it.

Shhh. It's best not to think too hard about the antics of Kinnikuman. It results in raeg and headdesking.

I love the fact that nobody even considers attacking the keyhole on their chest. In any other series, the first thought anyone would have would be "that must be a weak point". In this series, their first reaction to it is to think of things that it reminds them of.

If I were to nitpick, it'd be how the keyholes suddenly appeared on both their chests, and yet no-one noticed. Meanwhile, the announcers are able to notice the slightest facial expression, like "Aaaaattooo! Kinnikuman is now glaring at the Perfect Choujin, who I don't think have had anything change about them at all, except those very fashionable tattoos!"

I noticed that too: though it was a bit more subtle, the keyholes just "appear" with no hint or explanation whatsoever in the midst of the battle and no one even questions them until...well, they finally realize it. And...yeah, as stupid as it was that they find a way to tie it to something in Japan, it's even weirder/stupider that Terry actually had time to see the original key thingie considering that by this point all anyone was doing any more was either fighting in these stupid matches or preparing to fight in said stupid matches.

Speaking of which, as I'm working on 271, it's slowly occurring to me that this final battle kind of fizzled out at some point. Nobody really seems too concerned about fighting anymore, because they're all too busy standing around talking about the damn keyhole. I know the keyhole will determine the winner of the match, but it's kind of anti-climactic that the finale of the arc comes down to something like that instead of actual wrestling.

They should've made it a bit more emotional and climactic that the "perfect" chojin just rely on a different power source (as opposed to friendship or love), in my opinion.

Here's how I see it: the Tag arc was just such a massive mess and they wanted so badly to get to the Throne (their "big finish") that they just decided to throw in this stuff regarding "lock the Earth source and you can beat them with Muscle Docking" concept. But all in all, the series wasn't was it was. I really need to post about how the series evolved in it's style but even amidst the crumminess of the final battle, there were still some fun moments (Suguru singing "Kinnikuman Go Fight"...and for some reason I found it hilarious when Wolfman's ghost melted)

The series sort of lacked much of the warmth it had in previous arcs. Kinnikuman singing Go Fight was a great moment, though.

I liked that moment so much, I went to look up the anime version of that scene. It turns out the anime cut it for some illogical reason. >_>

No Akira Kamiya singing Kinnikuman Go Fight? That's disappointing. Oh well. The anime does some strange things, I've heard.

Nah, that's not DEM. The fact that there was an Apollo Window right there explains how "the Neptune dummies" got their power so easily and why they're not fighting around that other keyhole. Now the NEXT chapter...that's a DEM.

I suppose if it's any consolation, Akira Kamiya singing "The Miraculous Comeback Fighter" is a replacement for "Go Fight". At least, I'm sure I recall this...

Awesome.

I suppose if it's any consolation, Akira Kamiya singing "The Miraculous Comeback Fighter" is a replacement for "Go Fight". At least, I'm sure I recall this...

Yeah, he sings, let's see...
Kiseki no Gyakuten Fighter
Moeru Champion Kinnikuman (or whatever it's called)
Kinniku Mambo
Ring of Midnight
and some other more nonsensical themes

Plus, somethings that's even more awesome:

How about Akira Kushida imitating Kamiya's pig voice?

And being on the subject of Akira Kushida...
