If Cuddle is resculpted he might turn out okay.

So considering the figs chosen. These are the colors I would want.

Orange
Light Blue
Purple
Red
Silver

I don't see Cuddle getting resculpted. Some touch up stuff maybe, but that one and BABEE look pretty much finished.

I agree on Orange, Purple (dark), and Silver. If somebody goes for light blue again, I hope they pick the pale blue ZOMBIE shade. I don't have that set, but it looks awesome in pics. I'd be fine with no blue or green for this series though. I never liked the MUSCLE red.

I doubt anything will be said about runner ups until George is ready to start a S3 discussion thread, but here are some of the designs that were at least in the high teens: 125, 144, 153, 169, 177, 179, 392, 406

Which ones did you vote for again?

I was really bummed that Eric's Colossus didn't get in. That thing is rad.

11 - Shirtle
144 - DeadBeet
194 - Beetle Dude
278 - Angry Cookie
406 - Snake Girl

So many others I would have been happy with as well. Shame we couldn't choose S2 and S3 in at the same time. Could have took the top 5 and moved on with those to production first, and had S3 already lined up. I'm afraid alot of great entries this round won't get another chance in S3.

I disagree. I think Cuddle needs a lot of work before its ready for mass production via injection molding. Although the sculpt is growing on me (mainly because I imagine its still in the beginning stages) when I look at it, I see pieces of sculpty stuck together. It doesn't appear to be one, solid piece as the other sculpts do.

Now, I know pretty much zero when it comes to producing mini figures, so my thoughts are pretty worthless.

I think it's the weakest one concept and sculpt-wise, but I have faith LG will get it in shape sculpt-wise. Overall, I think S2 will be fine, but it is sorely missing a baddie character a la Multiskull or King Castor. :(

Just go to the voting thread and in the search field at the top of the thread type in the number you want. The search results will be all the posts in the thread with that number and it will tell you how many results. Only works with three digit numbers though. Living candle has 34 votes, that I believe has him in the top 10.

Well i know i won't be entering for series 3.

I had so much hope for this line after the first series, they just have a great feel to them (concept-wise), series 2 is too gimmicky and light hearted for my taste (other than the puke knight).

Yes, I think Puke Knight Is the strongest concept in S2, hands down! Had the Living Candle made it, it would be the second strongest concept! RJ was cranking out the ideas! I especially love the idea of being inspired by Ghouls and Ghosts. The may be why those characters have such depth and less gimmick.

I think Living Candle was in 6th place pretty much the whole way. Definitely #6 if it ended up with 34 votes. It will get my vote again for S3.

I think Living Candle, Snake Girl, The Elder, and Plague Doctor were all over 20 votes when I stopped tracking it. I like the scorpion girl more than the snake.

Well i know i won't be entering for series 3.

That blows. I would vote for #122 until it gets in.

Edit: George posted the runner ups:
125 – 34
392 – 27
34 – 26
153 – 26
406 – 25
177 – 24
116 – 23
179 – 22
144 – 21
102 – 20
169 – 20

Aw, you voted for the Beetle... Hahaha, After I submitted that, I learned to hate that design. Maybe I'll sculpt it anyways, and we'll see about doing a limited run, or something?

I'm with Eric, as far as the feeling that S2 didn't quite match up with S1 as far as originality.
I may do a collab with somebody for S3, but I'm not submitting any more of my original concepts/sculpts, either.

The good thing about the S2 thread, is that I made some good contacts, and it lit a fire under my ass to do my own stuff. I mean, silver linings, and all...

Regarding pieces getting "touched up" LG just posted the following at OT:

Have no fear that these will be badass before they go into production. Anything that needs touching up or sculpting will get it done. Remember these are DESIGNS that were being voted on. Not final figures. Like I've said a bunch of times before, even series 1 had touch ups before they were final.

And dang, Cobra Girl was a runner up. Its bitter sweet that it didnt make the cut, but gives me hope that lots of people liked it and it may make S3!

Would have loved it if snake girl (& scorpion girl, thanks Iwao) had made it into this series... Oh well.
Eric & Ironmask, I kind know how you guys feel man!
For me I will always revere the characters in series 1 cos they look mean, and freaky cool.
The lineup for series 2 (other than Puke-Knight being my fave) don't look half as mean.
Like series 1 gave us mortal kombat, or better yet Thrill Kill, and series 2 has gone the way of pokemon.
Sorry if I'm being a bit of a damper, but I'm not sold on shirtle. He has me thinking squirtle.
I like sharks, I like turtles (have 1 too), but I don't get the shirt. Put all 3 together and I jut don't get 'it'.
Robo-baby looks like it should be in something like animaniacs, or roger rabbit 2
Grimm Gourd is a nice sculpt, true.. But the design is too weak and cutesy. He needs a cleaver or a couple butchers knives for me to bat an eye at him. (I like imagining these guys in real size, like king castor is HUGE, even Outhouse is big and creepy enough to make a grown man run and hide like a little girl! Me included. But, a life size G.G (not George, the pumpkin dude! ) just has me thinking trick or treat, open the door to a little dude in a pumpkin suit makes me go... Aww, cute! Here's your lolly now off with you.
Ok, life size cuddle hard would be scary but for all the wrong reasons.
Puke Knight is cool no matter how you look at it, and I can't wait to get me one!
I really hope there's a chance to get the puke knight with detachable puke, if not, glow in the dark puke, or translucent green!
Hmmm... 4/5 ain't the best odds.
Sorry, not trying to offend or slag anyone's stuff, just talking shit.

Yup. Most evil looking of the first two series. Should be a cool one to customize too for people with talent. I think the only cutesy design of S2 is Shirtle, but I have no problem with that and it's growing on me.

I got into OMFG because they remind me of MUSCLE, and MUSCLE had about 100 figures I never gave a shit about.

I think it's possible Shirtle will end up looking a bit fiercer/less cartoonish when he's sculpted. I'm especially interested to see how that one will evolve from 2D to 3D.

I am not as bothered by the more lighthearted concepts as some of you guys but I do think it's important to have balance in any given set of these, and we could use a more badass monster in this lineup for sure.

Down to 4 sets left. My favorite of the exclusives.

Kickstarter black is down to 7 sets left.

If you add 5 to your cart, you will get a message that says there are only 4 left. Just be sure to empty your cart before leaving the site so bigcartel doesn't reserve them for 30 minutes.

Aaaaand it's down to zero! Could that mean no more black S1 figures ever?

My black OMFG are some of the few figures I own that I kept packaged. I'm always tempted to open them but I'd like to keep one carded set and black seemed like a good choice.
