Aaaaand it's down to zero! Could that mean no more black S1 figures ever?

My black OMFG are some of the few figures I own that I kept packaged. I'm always tempted to open them but I'd like to keep one carded set and black seemed like a good choice.

MOC guys might wanna skip to the next post, I dont buy toys to keep them packaged which is why I always try and find them loose, so I will be opening up all my packaging.

I open everything. I've got sealed rare cheap toys that I doubt will stay that way long lol I did order a second black set with this new kickstarter, so hopefully I'll keep this black set sealed on the card.

Now I am thinking about keeping mine MOC! I really just want King Castor though, so this will be tough.

But the real question is: Will series 1 come up in black again?

This is part of the update on the kickstarter: "That means that there are no more Black sets of Series 1 at this time."

I guess it's possible. Maybe it will be a pledge option for the S2 kickstarter.

When I as younger I opened everything I bought, and pretty much everything got thrown out, donated or sold at garage sales.
Now I try keep things I like mint on card/in box, my omfg included.
I have all of them so far, except the artist customs (I have one custom multiskull & a custom set Ersico did for me) I keep them
In a small box together so they're not on display.
I will load up on flesh sets soon and do some customs myself, so I imagine I'll get to have some of those on display soon enough.

I have started working on designs as well! Working on a barbarian and a monster and a girl design. Will stick to working on just these three and bringing back Living Candle.

I doubt that they'll ever have more S1 in black.
Although black was the exclusive for KS,
their numbers are bigger than anyother color except flesh.

There are prolly close to 600 sets of black floating around.

Did you see the first picture of the series 2 pumpkin, it was awful.
You dont have to be talented, there are people who will sculpt for you.

Arrived home from a business trip yesterday, sadly missed a second chance for a black set, but glad to get a set of the gitd figures. Have a growing fondness for these figures, and looking forward to future sets! Regarding keeping things MOC...thats over 90% of my toy collection :(.

i'm growing towards the idea of MOC but its not the same when their being displayed, doesnt have that same 'little army' feel,

but the more i think about it, the more i like the idea.

I am all about opening stuff up. I think the figures can usually be enjoyed more that way, and I'm not really planning selling my toys one day to make a ton of money or anything. But I like the way these guys look on the card and since I had so many different OMFG sets/colors, I decided to keep the black sealed.

I'm for the little army feel. Having the stuff still packaged means you can't have a Royal Rumble.

I'm keeping an extra set of black, flesh, and GITD sealed. The OT sets still look good on display in the blister cards. I have a stapler if I ever want to re-seal the artist proofs and other exclusive colors. I don't like looking at them bagged.

oh snap, look what you made me do,,,

i've gone and opened my AP's, ah well, looks like im gonna have to buy some staples, just in case i decide to reseal them one day,

and regarding the pumpkin, is it just me or does the designe on him seem,,,, ORIGINAL?
hardly 'outlandish' in my opinion, but i guess its another good one for custom paint jobs, right??!!

He doesn't seem original at all. In fact, besides the fact that he's OT mascot, of sorts, it's also the archetypical "Lord/King Pumpkin" monster we've seen in hundreds of comics and cartoons.
And, if I wanted to buy toys that were really easy to customize, I'd buy some of that designer vinyl trash.

But, I digress.

Maybe not too original of a concept, but I can't think of a mini figure that has been released based on this type of monster. It's possible I just don't know about it if there has been one, but in any case I'd sure like to add a pumpkin king monster dude to my collection.

I think it's crap. But, that is more money that I'm not spending on OMFG figures, that I can spend on Eric's awesome Splatterhouse keshis.
