I sold a couple of auctions over the past month (should've pimped them here but they were all non-LRG anyway) and as a seller, I can see the IDs of every bidder on my auctions. Now, I didn't have any of them cancel a bid, so I don't know what would happen there, but I imagine that the detail bidding list should include notes on guys that cancel. I'm sure it comes down to not being computer-illiterate IN CASE YOU COULDNT TELL FROM THIS GUY, or his ignorance is covering for something else. Don't know and thankfully don't have to care!

If anyone cancels a bid on an auction the seller always can see who and why they canceled. They have to give a reason to retracting a big, like entered wrong amount etc...This guy has to be faking it, I bid a small amount at first because I had hoped it was legit and he instantly emailed me after the auction to say he has more packs. Plus for someone that doesn't know how to use ebay or upload pictures, he sure knows how to email people that bid on his auctions, which also tells me he is faking the not knowing why the bids were retracted because he could see bidders/retractions on the same page.

Is it possible that a totally unknown person ends up with mint examples of some of the most desirable 4-packs around? Yes.

Is it probable? No.

If these are re-seals or customs, then this guy is off-the-charts-effing-awesome at his craft. If they are real, then this guy is going out of his way to hurt his sales. Two things would instantly help him: (1) provenance; and (2) turning off the CAPS LOCK. I have a feeling that not doing either of those things has a very deliberate and unscrupulous reason.

Our little friend just sent me a message letting me know he just listed another sealed Satan cross pack. He then proceeds to tell me he has many more.

He also some how figured out how to add more pictures because he said he put up plenty of pictures this time.

What a joke, I feel bad for the guy that bought the first pack from this scammer.

So what at the chances of this guy having all these four packs? It appears he has more than most of the LRG old timers that have been collecting for over a decade or longer.
I'm going to ask him to make me one. He does nice work.;-)

Its been mentioned in the other SC 4 pack thread, but decided to start a new one in case anyone is no longer paying attention to that one and thinks its still about the "ORIGIONAL" one.

Somehow this guy has another and this just keeps getting better and better!

I don't condone these shenannigans, but cant wait to see what he's gonna come up with next. Maybe he will do a 4 pack with 4 SC's(or at least a claw SC combo for the win).

Good chance!
I think you might be right on this. The seller may stumble upon a great find?

Dear pfuller10-us,

Is there a back story of how you found and obtain so many 4 packs w/ Satan Cross? Did they came in with the original Mattel factory box?

- gunsmoke.50

that blue box he found sounds like it may have been one of those cardboard standup store displays that 4-packs used to come in. There was a vintage toy and collectibles store a few miles from my house that had 2 of them full of packs a few years ago. If I remember correctly the box/tray part that held the 4-packs was blue. Sadly that store closed. :(
Those packs just may be legit.

The way he did it could be by having a case of flesh 4 packs where Satan Cross was a pretty common figure.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it would be pretty difficult to get everthing lined back up on card (cardboard would come off card and stick to bottom of bubble), no tears/rips showing on card, and/or no bubble damage.

The guy knows he has something because he is selling them one at a time.

I wish he would have shared just a little bit more about his "BLUE NOT BROWN" box. He lives in the asshole of Michigan. There's nothing out there. If he got a Pre-Pack of figures, then where? Or how?

It's not like there are 25 Pre-Packs waiting to be bought and he doesn't want anyone to go pick them up.

And I saw it said (either in this thread or the other one) that it wouldn't be unusual to have many SC's in a case. That's absolutely true. Number one, SC isn't rare – in any way, shape, or form. Number two, the figures contained in a case were often very, very similar. I remember Doc having a case and I think there were only a handful of different sculpts in it. The 4-packs varied, but it was mainly the same figures.

I am guessing they are legit. If he got a blue display case of figures with a SC in there its quite possible that he has several of them, at least six or so. When I got mine, surprisingly out of the 144 four packs in there, many of them were duplicates, in fact, there were so many duplicate packs that there wasnt enough figures to complete a whole set. I had about eight flesh claw four packs. I wish I was the lucky SOB that got eight purple claw four packs hahaha. I think the four packs are legit, so if you want a SC four pack go ahead and bid, the only thing I find suspicious is his naivety over the whole thing. That leads me to believe that its a former member that knows people wouldnt want to do business with him, but at the same time wants to sell these items because he knows he has something sweet.

Also just to touch on what vette was saying, its not too difficult, you dont have to remove the whole card to remove and stuff new figures in the pack. But I think these are real.

Alex had a case with SC 4-packs a while back. It doesn't surprise me that another one has been found.

The only thing that bothers me is that this guy seems to be intentionally vague.

We'll know if these are legit packs when the first ones hit their new homes.

Anyone ever think that this could be an elaborate hoax/scam? Somebody who knows about the muscle world and trying to pull a fast one. Could it be possible that they are repo pacages? The seller just seems too shady and the 'foreign' front he's using could be all pary of this scheme.

I wasnt sure myself either. My max bid on the first auction was $30. What stop me from bidding anymore was the retracting bidders.
