Just recently read through this thread and was really impressed by your design sketches and final outcome. I've been slowly reading up and watching youtube videos on sculpting and this thread was really inspiring. Great work with your figures and thanks for documenting the process!

I sculpt crap with my hands...and my brain!

The Castle of Cagliostro. Great film.
I would love to get my hands on some of that dung. Any idea on scale? Or is that a wait and see sort of thing?

rubber/resin rotocast if I can get that to happen haha. I do have an abundance of dung laying around, but it's all mine!

You want my secrets!?!?!? Nah I'm totally winging this shit on my own. Going college style. Cardboard/tape/glue/wood base structure then aves overtop probably. Lots of failing and breaking parts off and crying.
Whoa whoa whoa! We ain't anywhere near this stage yet! I'm going to have weeks of bashing my face against a wall first.

For dung hut I'm shooting for 1:1 proportions for beetle Orc. So door should be a plausible size for him to use to get in and out of his little poop shack. I have a bunch of dumb things I want to fit into this sculpt. Like old tmnt level of goofy crap and details.

I hope you document the whole process, cause I'm pretty excited about this. Also, can we get a better sense of scale in the next photo...? Pretty please?

Edit: I realized after posting this how awesome a dung beetle carcass would look as an external detail

Really cool stuff man, keep it up.
Any chance you have any extras (beetle man, volcano golem, etc) you would be willing to part with for cash or trade?
Shoot me a PM if so - I would be very interested in adding a few to my horde.
