Doc, that is hilarious! This is a quick little video my wife shot yesterday. Kind of funny, it shows how evil one of my dogs is.

My one dog tries a similar thing that sometimes works. If Bazl has a treat that Chloe wants, she'll get one of his stuffy toys and start playing with it. When he goes to take it from her, she runs over and steals his treat!

Check out this animated version of one of Jack Chick's fundamentalist Christian comics! Absolutely amazing! (Disclaimer: If you're a militant atheist, you might be offended; If you're a fundamentalist Christian, you might be offended.)

I am working on some more videos to post his improvements, like week by week, for memory and improvement evidence, so we can see how much he is getting better. We are confident that by the end of the summer, he will at least be walking freely again. This video gives us hope. Check it out, and look for more in the future.

Hey all. I will post a little insight before the video because the video doesnt have any explanation. As most of you know, one of my dogs recently became paralyzed. Last novemeber he was totally flaccid from mid back down. No movement, no reflex, nothing. Since then he has been going through a pretty exstensive physical therapy program and has started to get control and movement of his legs, tail etc... He can now wag his tail freely (which meant a lot to me) and his legs are getting muscular again, little by little. One of the best Physical therapies for paralyzed dogs is hydro therapy, we give him baths daily, and strength, ROM exercises in the bath. but since the bath leaves little room for walking etc.. the best place for him is the lake. Now that it is warming up we have been taking him to the lake pretty frequently and with each visit, we see something new or some kind of improvement. Check out this video we took last Sunday, best so far. he is getting better.

Yes actually, I guess I didnt post it here, but here is a progression video I did showing week by week improvements with his physical therapy. I think I posted it in the pet thread. I am working on part two now. Bummer thing is summer break is over and we hardly make it to the lake now. Up side to that though is he is beginning to walk to well that its time to start regular walking physical therapy not hydro-therapy meaning I can just take him to the park next to my apartment and let him run free. His little legs are still trying to replace the muscle lost while he was completely paralyzed and there is still some communication issues regarding his legs and nerves firing and responding like they are supposed to, but he is doing fantastic! He can stand up on his own very well now and as long as he is going straight he can walk pretty good distances, its the turning that screws him up. Since his legs have little muscle he gets tired really quick. We will walk him for about 10-15 minuted before he lays down and refuses to try anymore hahahaha. I am working on part two of that video to document the remainder of the summer and stuff. SHould be up in a week or two, hell I might even finish it today. If so, I will post it here.
