Hm, I took a look at Drax's translation of Idai na Tamashii, and while it gets the idea across, it seems that a lot of it oversimplifications or plain guesses of the actual meanings. While I'm no good at Japanese grammar, it's quite easy to tell just by looking at the words, so I thought I'd make the very bold move of giving that one a shot too.
Gee, I think I'm feeling a bit overconfident today. Must be the tea.
"I've formed a tag team with Kinnikuman as Kinnikuman Great.
I'm actually Prince Kamehame of Hawaii.
But you knew that already, didn't you, ladies and gentlemen?"*
Burn, making the most of life
Form bonds of burning friendship
Kinnikuman Great, we will never forget you
He can dance in the sky with his Martial Arts kick**
He will turn around with his Rolling Savate
Acting with overwhelmingly beautiful moves, with a calm judgment***
A veteran chojin who will go down in history
Who with Kinnikuman has formed a super tag team
Their miracle technique: Muscle Docking****
A warrior who sacrificed his life
To take back the bonds of friendship
Stolen by the hands of evil
Shine, Black Mask!
Dash, show us love!
Kinnikuman Great, we will never forget you
"As the Muscle Brothers, our Muscle Docking is just like a work of art.*****
To put it simply, it's a docking of the Kinniku Buster and Kinniku Driver.******
With this finishing move, justice will certainly be seen uphold." *******
Grasp victory, Muscle Brothers!
Kinnikuman's great partner
Is in fact Kamehame, the champion of Hawaii
The teacher singing of justice
Even though you are now gone
You go on to live in our hearts
Burn, making the most of life
Form bonds of burning friendship
Kinnikuman Great, we will never forget you
Burn...
"Hurry up! I want authenthic Japanese ramen with soy sauce!"
Burn...
Burn...
Okay, notes. A lot of them.
*I *think* he's asking if you knew that already, but I'm not sure if "shizznitte ru na" is slang of some sort.
**I interpreted the -eba form (conditional) as the martial arts kick allowing him to dance in the sky.
***I'm not sure if the "nomu" (overwhelming, breathtaking) modifies the "calm judgment" as well.
****Literally, it would be "The miracle technique is Muscle Docking", poetically emitting the "is" verb, but that just sounds odd.
*****This whole sentence was tough, but I think I got it right. "to mo" seems to mean "could as well..."
******I picked "to put it simply". I think that's the best way to put it.
*******Another tough one. "Certainly defend display" was a bit hard to get right, but I think that what he means is that he will, no doubt, show justice being uphold with this technique.
Whew. I think I got this one down pretty well, to be honest, but damn, getting the conjugations right isn't easy! I'd be glad if you would comment a bit on it, Kenni, because it really helps since you're so knowledgable about the language.
