Finally some news about the AP King Castor figures being released!
I just copied & pasted this from October toys-

"I've been considering taking some pictures of myself rolling around in the king castorpile. Its gonna be hard letting these guys go.
But- good news! I am almost ready to sell them! 123 King Castors are almost ready for sale. I am thinking Friday or next Friday."

He gave three of them away to that store, to encourage people to go to his local shop. It might be that he's only gotten as far as packing up those 123, he's saving some for customs, etc.

123 out of 200 for sale to the public after all this time is a good number. Thye only released 60 of his 100 Shithouses. They didn't sell out until early the next morning, and that was with a limit of 3 per person.

I wouldn't give this guy poop if his limit isn't 1 per person. Who would want to send 123 individual packages if you could save personal time and eat less on shipping and package costs by making the limit 2 or 3 per person?

True, but if he even makes $1 profit each sending the packs out individually, that's still $123 in his pocket.

There was also the other artist in Europe who got the other 100 and was selling as well, so that accounted for less demand on the ones Thye had.

I am hoping that the 123 he has don't sell out immediately. I need 2. (1 for me and 1 for my son).

If he was pressed about making money or even getting his money back, I think he would've got them ready for sale a long time ago. I'm sure he will set a limit, but the price he sets will also factor into whether people buy more than they need. Of course people were going to buy extras of the AP Multiskull. monsterforge was pretty much giving them away at $3 each. You could get 3 for $12 including shipping in the states.

That's another reason a limit of 2 or 3 would be good. I bet a lot of people are collecting these with their kids.

The demand on Castor will be higher will all the new collectors that joined during the S2 voting. Anyone that can't be online when they go on sale should expect to miss out.

Ugh. Seems strange to do it at a time when it will be 2-3 a.m. for a lot of people. The others did it at a time that worked out for most people (in the US at least).

Heheheh, I regularly have a bedtime far later than 3am, so I'll be good to go and probably not have as much competition. Good, because I'll be so glad to have the hunt for APs finally over!

I think you're wrong there because I believe there will be plenty of people willing to wake up early for this. I'll be one of them. Starbucks or Dunkin Doughnuts coffee will probably be calling my name Friday morning.
