Don't live in the right area to run into them - we get a ton of redbacks and white tails though.ever run into any of those funnel web spiders?
I like spiders, but I can't stand white tails. They're crazy aggressive. CRAZY.
Have some adorable spiders

lol, nearly everyting in AU is dangerous, except maybe for some of the sheep. Most venomous land snake (it's a damn cute looking snake, big shiny round black eyes), most toxic spider, I think we have some of the worlds most toxic fungi too, but I can't remember if those were imported.watched a thing on nature a while ago. was about all of the venomous things you find in australia. convinced me that i didn't need to go to australia that bad. i don't know what you all do out there to make everything extra dangerous but...yikes. watch out for those red back critters. they're pretty bad. hadn't heard about the white tails. i'll have to check them out.
Funny thing is that we don't have many large predators like tigers or wolves. Only one I can think of that still kind of exists is the dingo, and that's been bred with normal dogs so there apparently aren't any real dingos left or something. And then there's crocodiles, of course. But other than that we're pretty predator free. Unlike africa with it's lions and cheetahs and hyenas and crazy crazy animals.
We used to have a giant version of the komodo dragon that hunted kangaroos. AWESOME.

When I was there I saw a bazillion crocs, that was enough predators for me. Saw a couple dingo, but they didnt look too scary, got chased by a goose too. I might make a vid and post about the goose, it was actually pretty funny, my friend was scared shizznitless of it.

Funny, I've never seen any. And that's not because I don't go swimming - I've been to pleanty of lakes and rivers, just haven't seen any crocs. Well, outside a zoo. I've seen them in zoos, and on TV. Pay TV seems to have non-stop documentaries about sharks and crocs on the animal channel. When I was there I saw a bazillion crocs, that was enough predators for me. Saw a kid getting chased by a swan a few years back. Dumb shizznit kept trying to grab it by the neck so it had a go at him. Mother dear immediately called someone on her mobile and demanded the swans be exterminated, because it's clearly negligent to have dangerous wild animals in a park. Hillarious.
ANYWAYS.

Australia; where the spiders are so big they have healthbars.
Gah! Man, it is abundantly clear why Australia was originally chosen as a penal colony. It's just chock full of the most horrifying stuff nature has to offer. Even the cute stuff like Koalas and Kangaroos are completely capable of tearing your face off.
I'm not particularly arachnophobic or anything, but seeing that giant spider in the corner of my living room would pretty much wreck me for life. Hell, even the babies are bigger than i like to see in a full-grown spider.

the slime of all my yesterdays
rots in the hollow of my skull
they will pick up snakes in their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them

Some samples to get you visiting this link. The website's author misidentifies a leek, has some extremely bland humor, but it's all easy to ignore, and really not important. What is important is the... the... the panties falling down!
It's all worksafe, but of questionable merit. Nothing showing, just some surprised looks on the girls faces.

In my opinion, Gil Elvgren is King. Although, I wasn't really familure with mr frahm and his work is very nice and the whole panties falling down thing is a great shtick.

He clearly had a loose undies fetish. But why? Does he like the unexpectedness of something like that happening? Or does he like embarrassed girls? Did he have some weird childhood experience?

yeah, I know all about pinups - it's just the loose underwear thing I was commenting on. I found it novel and amusing, and it made me wonder what would be going through the artist's head to make him continuously return to the same theme. If I were a pinup artist and thought of the idea I'd draw maybe a few pantsed gals, then move on, not spend half my life on drawing girls with their undies failing without warning.

It’s the seeing something you shouldn’t thing. Like spy cams and whale tails just an old fashioned version.
It’s not that the panties are loose or that the girls are embarressed its because they are normal accessible women going about their daily business.
it’s a devise for the artist to sexualise and make an erotic picture of them but keep their innocence presenting them as cute and sweet rather than the sexual predators you see in some porn and glamour modelling.
he didnt want them to be showing the panties deliberatley, if you notice the examples shown where a bell boy and bus driver are excited by the prospect of seeing the dropped panties thoes type of women would not usually show themselves to people in thoes sort jobs (were talking 50's here) that to me is the artist giving his feelings as to how he would react the situation i.e. he would love it!
