Chapter 287: Math problem: Terryman leaves Texas for Japan on foot and Robin Mask leaves England for Japan on foot at approximately the same time. The two paths intersect at some point prior to entering Japan. After that, the two demonstrate that they both travel at approximately the same speed. The two enter Japan from Hokkaido (that's the northmost Japanese island). What path did they take?

Honestly, it's a pity that Mayumi didn't enter the ring instead of Meat. That would've been hilarious.

And yes, I agree on the notion of King the 100 Ton's arms. I would guess that Yude thought up the weight lifting gimmick in the last minute to make him more different from the Mountain.

While he doesn't drive trucks, I like 100 Ton and his gimmick a bit more. A super-heavy shape-shifter was unique compared to "he's really heavy and can drop on Terry".

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

I didn't say I hated Mountain: I actually liked his usage in the Muscle Brothers/Hell Missionaries fight and the driving scene is just too much like the classic Kinikuman. But when he originally fought Terry, all he did was really just drop down on him and be super-heavy...and that's essentially it. Compared to the other Seven Devil members, it wasn't that much.

Now compare that to a massive 100 Ton weight who can strangle and send you flying with a massive see-saw he can reveal from nowhere...now that's memorable.

Looking forward to upcoming chapters, thanks for your work guys.

Chapter 289: The giant ball scene in Raiders of the Lost Arc was taken from a Scrooge McDuck comic. True story.
http://www.megalopuad.coc/?d=VF496EXX

The best part of the chapter was Kinnikuman running up and drop kicking Mariposa while he wasn't paying attention.

So, uh... Why can 100 ton only change shapes when Mariposa holds up a flash card?

Also, I like Terryman's apparently distached leg when he puts 100 ton in the leg lock.

Aside from the "It's Kinnikuman" arguement, the only explanation I have is that 100 Ton has the ability to do this, he just doesn't really have the brain power to do so by himself, therefore the need for flash cards to transform.

Chapter 290: After Mixer Taitei getting help from the gods, Mister VTR rigging the match, Hawkman bringing a bird into the fight, Mariposa using flashcards, and King the 100 Ton installing a see-saw into the ring, Mariposa's team isn't allowed to complain about Kinnikuman cheating.
http://www.megalopuad.coc/?d=RYV1A9V0

I was kind of weirded out by Mariposa mentioning that he's known King the 100 Ton for years. I had just assumed that they just grabbed a bunch of random Chojin for their teams.

How exactly did Terry trip 100 Ton anyway? No matter if he moved the See-saw up, the immense force of 100 ton falling would make that completely negligible.

I didn't quite get it either: either it was actually the God of Flight (currently in Mariposa) who knew 100 Ton or Mariposa (back when he was "George") knew him during all his escapades before all this current stuff. The situation regarding how teams are formed is a weird and complicated issue considering some of what we have coming up. (mostly talking about some stuff we learn about Team Phoenix and Team Zebra)
