Between October Toys and LRG, it doesn't seem like anyone's going to SDCC this year... which sucks.

I'll be happy if I at least know that the purple sets aren't limited to a low number like the color-mutating ones, then at least those I could grab from their store after Comic-Con.

Not sure if purple is limited to 200, but George said he is holding some stock back for selling in the OT store after SDCC. 3DRetro posted on the OT forum that they are holding back about half the sets to sell online on Monday 7/16.

It still sucks to root for them not to sell whatever they do take to SDCC. It's pretty obvious a run of 200 color changing sets would sell quick as shit to board members and Kickstarter backers alone.

That is good news. I'll be working that week but hopefully we'll have a rough time on when they'll be going up so should be able to to grab both sets (and a flesh and GinD if they're added at OT at the same time).

I saw on /toy/ the same thing about George having more after SDCC, so odds are it's not a low quantity like 200. That was a load off my mind. After all the petty bee-eye-itching I've done over OMFG in purple I'm thrilled that I can get my hands on them! Grabbing the mutating-color set will just be icing on the cake if I can make it happen.

Edit: Nevermind! I found out the price while reading the OMFG Thread on october toys. It's also $10 for the purple . 3D retro will be holding back half the stock to sell the Monday after the con. George also has stated he will be selling Purple sets after the con. I am a bit relieved.

That's cool. I hope the actual time the sets will be added to 3DRetro and October Toys will be announced in advance.

I want going to order something small from 3DRetro just to get an account set up and have all my payment info there already, but I think the cheapest shipping option was over $8.

I was thinking of doing this too as I presume they aren't PayPal but only credit/debit card. I'll just take the chance that I get can get things sorted quickly on Monday when they are released!

Does anybody have any further info on the time 3DRetro will be releasing the 2 sets? Im in England and dont want to miss out, so if I know a time then I can work out a plan - even if it means buying whilst at work!
