Eh, randomly making up names for improvised attacks is very common in anime.

Well, the Möbius band thing was pretty smart.

It just struck me, Big Body should've put Wolfman on his team.

What, for worfability?

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

No, but he would've fit in very well.

Canadianman would have fit in very well for two reasons:

1) He's from Canada, just like Big Body.

2) He's the epitome of a jobber, much like Big Body and the rest of his team.

In the few appearances where he actually does stuff, he also has a ridiculous amount of physical strength. (although having the same attribute as the god leading the team seems to be optional, if Kinnikuman Mariposa's team is any indication)

I really should have put this up earlier in the weekend but I've been really busy and somehow fear my seasonal light syndrome could be kicking in. But it was done so here it is:

Ramenman's bizarre meta-logic is too complicated for me.

And "Kill the Skydive"? That must be the worst attack name since Mask the End.

I guess Gonebefan is Gone.

Anyone want to start on Fight 3 of Kinnikuman Lady?

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I can do it, if you let me do it ^^ , but i'm in my final exams until 18, so I can only start after that day ^^

But i'm not so good like GonbeFan or Steacase King ^^ . If I do it, I'll realese as a Team Kinniku project

Ramenman thinks on a level that's beyond all mere mortals, including the mangaka themselves.

And "Kill the Skydive"? That must be the worst attack name since Mask the End.

Reminds me of an utter horrid engrish/japanese phrase from the end of an OP called Yume-Iro Chaser

Kimi ni kaketa* dead heat no
I love you

*kaketa as in kakeru, wager, gamble, bet

"I gambled you I love you of dead heat"

Yeah, makes an awful lot of sense. I even showed it to a guy who's completely fluid in Japanese. Guess what, he couldn't make sense out of it either.

Silly Japanese and their fetish for destroying language...

Engrish is present in alot of early NES games. Read the opening story scroll for the first Zelda NES game (not the one on the Gamecube), it's hilarious.

Well they didn't have as good proofers in the 8-bit era. Not their fault we like to laugh at them these days.

Alternatively, it could be a "Dead Heat 'I love you'," where "Dead Heat" acts as an adjective, so to speak.

The flashback of Manriki smashing Warsman reminded me, shouldn't Warsman be able to very easily trivialize the vice by performing the not very impressive acrobatic feat (in chojin terms) of... Handstanding while doing a bridge?

Programming may also have something to do with it.

Warsman should never win, that is one of Yude's rules.

Chp. 315: The chapter that proves how alike Kinniku Suguru and Togashi Genji really are: http://mangahelpers..../releases/18156

After this chapter should actually be that "recap" chapter that is at the end of the volume (due to the sickness of the writer of Yudetamago), but since I'm not doing that by suggestion of Tash, next time we'll be starting with...the silliest intro in a long time.

Oh look, I'm back.

Chapter 297: Doctor Plot device tells Warsman that if he calms down to think, a Plan B will become obvious. However, I'm not really sure that "search the afterlife for a rock that brings people back to life" would have ever been obvious.

No, it wasn't. Dr. Plot Device works in mysterious ways that are way beyond the comprehension or sanity of normal manga characters.

The "I've been standing like this for three months" part was hilarious, the fight was great (CROSS BOMBER), and then Parthenon appeared and made it stupid.
