You guys can find more pictures from my Gold Adam Bomb Minikin here:
You'll get a good idea of scaling from those pictures. If any of you have a request (to see adam next to a specific figure) ask me, i prob own it)
Also, to answer everyone's questions, after comparing the adam minikin with all my other mini-figures, i can tell you that they feel the most like:
MIMP - Monster in my pocket figures. Which, if you own these figures, you'll know is pretty exciting news. They're very bendable/flexible and stand upright with no problems (due to the type of rubbery material which sort of sticks to countertops).
I'm not sure how these will turn out, customized with paint (not a painter myself), but i'm sure it can be done.
If you're a kid, you're going to love these things!!!
Here's one more picture illustrating the scaling on these figures with the original Cheap Toys figures (take notice of the fact that the original cheap toy heads were all over the place, size wise). Compared to russel muscle, the new minikins heads are on par. Haven't seen the rest yet but i hope to have some promos in my hand before release date:

Yeah with 26 figures and 5 sets( painted, red, blue yellow and green) that makes a master set at a nice 130 figures. Then hunting down gold figures haha.
You won't be able to get the golds, they're not available at retail. Watch the presentation video i uploaded for more info:

Does anyone know what stores these will be available in. Shipping is so ridiculous on most websites so I really want to buy them locally. Toys r us?? 7 eleven??

..that ad is pretty bad, though.
Matches most of the figures.
I'm sorry, but compared the the custom sculpts we have been getting the last few years, these things are mostly just crap.
Here's the thing. Topps has been monitoring the GPK custom scene for a while now. They've seen the work that has been produced. Had someone with any marketing sense been in charge, they would have HIRED some of the talent instead of sending cease and desists. They would have gotten better sculpts for a fraction of what they are likely paying.
Anyways, just my two cents.

I wonder if the paint jobs could be the main thing turning some of you guys off of these. I know it's all subjective, but I personally can't find much to criticize about the sculpts themselves. Especially considering the size of the figures.
I wonder if a lot of people who aren't feeling them now will get on board with these once they see all the mono versions. Looking at the pics of the mono gold Adam Bomb, I don't see anything to pick apart.

I love the figures. I think they are awesome considering how small they are. They will look great next to the Cheap toys and the Imperial pop-ups. In my opinion Topps has hit a home run!!

What he said... Kind of amazing actually.Had someone with any marketing sense been in charge, they would have HIRED some of the talent instead of sending cease and desists. They would have gotten better sculpts for a fraction of what they are likely paying.

That said, I dId buy a box... Monos of non-customed characters will be a nice addition to the collection. Can't say I LOVE the painted ones.
Stoked nonetheless

I will still always revere my collection of GPK originals tho. Nasty Nick, Grim Jim, Sitting Adam Bomb... Some of the coolest figures I own. Period. Still need to get me some of Uraeus' figures too, that Roy Bot is awesome.
