I know some Calvin Harris fans hate this album... but I still find myself humming/singing this song every once in a while...

Glad you enjoyed it! Honestly I tried but could never get into their oldest stuff, but We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank (their last album) is still one of my favorite alt/rock albums.

I fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it, then I found this article in Rolling Stone explaining the deep David Byrne influences in the structure and it made complete sense haha.

The first track from the last album has an awesome video so here's that to enjoy :)

That's so funny that you bring up David Byrne... because when you posted the first video I almost said "no wonder you like this it reminds me of Talking Heads"!!  (because I seem to remember that you were a Talking Heads fan).

It's funny... I've always been a fan of TH, but especially lately it's been popping up on my iTunes radio feed.  That and David Byrne.  Good stuff!!

yeah I've been a big fan for years now. There's a TH tribute band that I see every time they come around. They have an annual concert in Chicago where they do a live re-creation of the Stop Making Sense film. I went a few years ago and it was amazing; they sound great and even mimic all the little between-song banter and movements that you can see in the film. That's attention to detail

Kind of agree there. Though i do prefer Jasons backing vocals wich just brings so much energy to the bands performance. It appears all basist have been worse than the last one haha..

Though about the bass playing itself... Cliff was the king! My all time favourite bass player, i have listened Orion and Call of Ktulu with the enganced bass countless times. One of a kind music in my oppinion

This song "Dangerous" by Big Data was in the movie Earth to Echo.  It is tolerable as far as new music goes.  Prompted me to look up the artist, and then the video, which is interesting....

It reminded me a lot of "Itsu" by Plaid, which has always been a weird video embedded deep in my memory.

Not huge fan of the music though the vid really makes you think haha..
Kind of like the Norveigian salmon wich is fed with "meat-bone dust". Yep they feed fish with meat making them grow faster and bigger, without further a do... i dont eat that shit i boicot it. I only eat this smaller type of salmon from finland, but its very expensive and were running out on salmon(wich is also bad. Only eat the raised salmon instead of wild or we will run out. Dont worry that is raised naturally)

Damn you got me on a real green mood here haha, but i really think speed growth hormones and shitty environments for animals(food. im not a god damn vegan) is a serious consern.

Seems there is a decent sounding band called Battle Beast (Their logo looks to be inspired by Battle Beasts). I dig this song, but man, I get the feeling they just went to a local stripper joint and were like "Yo, $50 to the first 4 gals that come be in our video" it's like a Tuesday night at my local stripper joint...uncoordinated and sloppy choreography and all.
