I have watched this for a good while; I think the price is too high, but I may just be too stingy for it. Blackstar was awesome and here are some Blackstar LRG gumball machine figures.

You and me both, man.   I saw this one, but no so much into the blow molded stuff.  I have the Gigan from this set, but mine is heavy vinyl/rubber, around 9" tall, and marked Hong Kong.    B)

Holy crap, they assembled the whole line-up.

It's not an impossible set to get together these days thanks to all the SAS reissues, but Star Platinum Second and Silver Chariot First haven't gotten any. SP 2nd in particular is an expensive asshole to pick up!

Also got a great laugh out of that description. It doesn't end!

It certainly does not. I don't know much about the larger figures, besides the fact that they look rad.

Just saw these guys and they are so pricey but they look awesome. I'd get them if they were $880 cheaper!

http://www.ebay.com/...=item567598a865

They are the 80s perfect toy! Robots, mini figure, and in neon colors. They just look awesome.

Holy shit...I had all of these. I am dying. UGGGGGH...got rid of em in the great toy purge of '99 along with most of my Trash Bag Bunch and Happy Meal Toy collection.

The Mezco Loch Ness Monster was insane! Alas, unproduced.

It certainly does not. I don't know much about the larger figures, besides the fact that they look rad.

A bunch of them are available on AmiAmi - off the top of my head, Kakyoin and Hierophant Green, Polnareff and Silver Chariot 2nd, Jotaro 2nd, Magician's Red and maybe Avdol. If you settled for Star Platinum 3rd, you could have all of them for around retail between there and Mandarake with ease. They're a great set of action figures, I own the full set of Part 2 guys and several of the Stardust Crusaders figures. Someday with more room and money, I'll grab more of what I'm missing.

You know, I should probably actually enter this contest, but given the number of days since it started, I've got worse odds. And I'd feel bad when I pay no mind to Forever Yes (I still don't entirely get them) but start spamming up this one.

See, I like part 3, but part 7 is my favorite. There aren't a whole lot of toys out there for SBR, and the few there are are expensive.

You'll be happy to know that courtesy of a magazine scan, there's word that Medicos is doing a Gyro Zeppeli Super Action Statue! No idea whether Medicos is going horse or no horse.

I just got my first Gigan for fathers day. There are I think 3 or 4 color variations floating around out there of that bootleg toy. It is the only "villain" they made for the bootleg Godzilla they were also producing back then. Mine is the yellow one with green and red paint on the legs and back. There is also a purple one, and a different style yellow one....beyond that I am not sure. I want them all!

These are different items. The mutant gorilla warrior has been out for years.  The Galactic Adventures gorilla is a a brand new item in a brand new line for Papo.  They are mostly human warriors in suits that look like HALO, except there is a space gorilla and a space dragon dude -- which actually, both still look like specific HALO races.  At their website, they are showing only the digital rendering as well.

Here is my pick:

Spider Gremlin $66 NECA direct

Actually I will probably just wait for retail down the road...these are not that important to me. Just funny that they are already going high on ebay before the con even starts!
