The characters are made by various designers. You can get Colonel Stronheim and Kid Cobra, if you can find them. Themes and styles mean nothing here.

Whew, beat Super Phoenix as Neptune King. His v<S and v<M attacks are really broken. Got beat by Kinnikuman though.

Ugh, I hate Super Phoenix's cheap 500 million power recharge.

Played around a bit with KnKC-less Suguru. He's just TOO powerful for my tastes. Starts out with 3 super bars, a 2 super bar move that can take off 75% of an enemy's life (Muscle Spark) and a 1-super bar that takes off another 20-25% (Global Brain spin)? Yeah...

God damn it, can't pull off Warsman's Screw Driver, and I even have a joystick.

Am I suppose to do the rotations at a specific moment? I mean, there's plenty of time during his ascent.


Also, Throne Neptuneman has an atrocious sprite, especially when compared to the gorgeous True Neptuneman one.

as couple of notes on your neptune king move list
* the <-+A can be linked in quick succesion with <-+B and later <-+C, so you should be able to combo the 3 hits.
*when you do the earth lift with >25% life and you press -> neptuneman quarrel bombers you and you lose the round.
*Mask The End looks effin great, but does miserable damage for 5 bars, but you have your cheap moves to do the other damage quickly and without realiation. (you can permacombo with his magentical supplex agaist the wall certain charactes)... it's not blockable, you just have to get used to do it at the right distance


on a side note, throne neptuneman has an awful sprite AND normal combat moves, they're slow and do low damage. it's hard to fill a bar with him...

Also, Storm Driver seems to be some kind of counter move, but I can't figure out exactly what triggers it. Sometimes airborne enemies are absorbed, sometimes attacking, sometimes enemies from the other side of the screen.

Neptune King fills up his bars in a moment (He probably gets 5 bars faster than most characters gets 3) so the ~85% damage Mask the End does is nice in my opinion. It's just that it seems that it has to hit while the opponent is attacking you to trigger, standing or walking doesn't seem to do it, so it's really a make it or break it move. Luckily you only lose 3 bars if you miss. So I'd probably stay away from it on the basis of the fact that it's unreliable more than anything else.

Because really, there's no reason to use it over Megaton King Drop, Crucifixion, Neptuneman Jumping On Top Of The Opponent (seriously, it HURTS for 1 power bar) and Cross Bomber. Well, except the fact that Mask the End really is amazingly well done.

Neptune King actually has a good few fun permacombos. M attack against the wall comes to mind.



Oh, and the timing for Cross Bomber is during the second "hit" frame , which is about 0.3 seconds. Or you can just hold it, but that's scrub.

Oh, cool, >v<+A allows you to grab and toss the enemy into the ropes, >v<+B allows you to slam them into the ground. >v<+C will toss them way over the stage.

Hm, looks like you can begin the v<v< for Mask the End before you hit the ground, and it connects directly from Magnetic Suplex.

Ha! I beat Uber-Neptuneman as Neptune King. Wasn't too hard, actually, I just spammed Cross Bomber and hoped for the best.

it annoys where you ''kill'' kinnikuman and phoenix with mask the end and the revive..
recent experiences in pvp shows me that storm driver is a counter for normal attacks aka punchs and kicks

What anti-revive moves (i.e. ones that kill before they can revive) does Neptune King actually have? Does he have ANY?

perfect dream
cross bomber is tricky, you have to kill him with the cross bomber, but if his life drops enough with the quarrel bomber he'll KKD during your cross bomber
megaton otoshi AFTER first kkd. if he hasn't he will KKD anyway
perfect megaton king otoshi. (if you land, he gets koed and the match end but he uses the kkd anyway and loses 2 specials.)
thunder sabre crucifixtion after first kkd. same as megaton king otoshi
powered earth lift ---> in this, if kinnikuman can do his KKD when falling the pit, but thanks to the long talk between neptuneman and neptuneking, and that the post hits doesn't give special, kinnikuman gets knocked down with the hits and his life bar going down no matter what. it doesn't allow him to KKD again


dunno about his sword coffin special. too low damage, blockable and hard to hit to. unreliable special.

why ramenman specials take away SO little damage?

Finally I did it!!!!!, this is the greatest thing that happened in my life!!!, and the combination is v>v>+M , in that point warsman prepares a counter, and when you are attacked, press v+S, this needs a very good timing..... I'm so happy!
