I added 10 new figures myself, so I am now going to be at 918!

I am working on a flesh set. I have 112 to go. Hopefully, with any luck, I will have close to 70 new ones, and narrow that gap soon. (Working on a deal).

I do not yet have a SC, but working on it.

I have not posted here in a bit, still stuck at Master Set: 1115/1528 but I finally put all 1,115 MUSCLE on display together (cluttered but they all fit in one glass case now); since I freed up some space by putting my vintage 418 Kinkeshi set in Acrylic cases and hung em on the wall (the double tape definitely works better on Kinkeshi than PVC!!!):

Have you stuck them down with tiny blobs of blu tac or anything similar? One knock and I can imagine many hours of stacking all come tumbling down in seconds!!!!

Double sided tape my friend!

 

One of my favorite pastimes is looking up collections on Google/Instagram (not having an instagram account myself).

 

Nama Niku actually had a picture up from a Japanese toy store and on the glass display cases the shop had the Kinkeshi standing up (I had never seen that before in Japan since at Mandarake they usually display them flat or leaning in a case); someone asked and he said "double sided tape".

 

That saved me a ton of space, I place the double sided tape on the acrylic shelves or glass and just stick the Kinkeshi (or now MUSCLE) to them.

 

Somehow rubber sticks better to the double sided tape than the PVC but that depends on the quality of the double sided tape (I have used 2 types).

 

So far so good, depending on the legs of some sculpts of course.

I just rearranged/freed my shelves again (anticipating some future Asia purchases) and managed to fit 874 MUSCLE from my collection in 3 glass jars (more room for toys!)

My goal for my MUSCLE Master Set was reaching 1,200 or 1,250 and maybe tapping out. I reached a deadlock and have not acquired more than 1,115; so its nice to hear that you are almost at the 1,300 mark!

It's getting harder and harder to find any without help. I want say A huge THANK YOU! to everyone that has helped me get this far.

I have one 236 figure flesh set, plus a spare 235 figure flesh set, (not collecting coloured figures as I didn't have any of those back in the day).

For record reasons, I have a additional 200 duplicates apart from the 233. Also I do qualify for 236+++ as I have SHA. Dr. Bonbe, and BHS with Peg attached.

I've finally gotten around to joining this board. I've been collecting M.U.S.C.L.E. since they released, took a break and collected MIMP for a little, then got back into collecting in 2000 and finished my 236 w/ SC. Have a singleton mixed color set and recently the 418 dvd set plus a smattering of kinkeshi and deka.

Got those puppies into a shadow box back in 2005.

I found a craftsman who would make a custom shadowbox based on custom dimensions, # of squares- this was almost 15yrs ago. Don't have info on the guy anymore.

I'm at 1501 to be exact. With 27 more figures to go. Most of which I HAVE seen once or twice before. So there IS hope if ever so small.
