Agree with most of what you're saying. To me, it's worth whatever the buyer is willing to spend. Buyers set the market, not sellers. Sellers can hold on their figures, and hope the a buyer comes along. Supply and demand I think are the two most important factors.

that's not value though. this market is very skewed.

Are you an expert on contract law to be able to make that kind of assessment?

It appears to me that the seller has had two legal contracts with the buyer, both of which he was obligated to fulfill. The fact he only came through on one of them would suggest to me, admittedly as a layman, that he is open to legal action for not fulfilling the other.

I am not a lawyer, but have been a party to legally binding contracts enough to make a fair assessment based on the facts as stated in this thread.

What you are saying makes sense, unless you consider the sequenential order of the contracts. Seeing as they were essentially contracts for the same transaction, the buyer's agreement to go through with the second contract essentially renders the first contract null and void.

As long as you provide a tracking # you could simply mail back another claw and demand a refund. Ebay will side with you. Not the most honest thing... never know how it might bite you in the butt down the road but that would be the easiest way to deal I think.

He would need to open SNAD and because of the $$$$ amount he must have signature confirmation.

Yes and also I wouldn't do it because it's not an honest thing to do.... but on the other hand the seller isn't the most honest.... this is why I would likely not be in the situation because I try not to deal with less than honest people & sever those relationships.

This isn't always true. There are plenty of things that are exclusive to the individuals/organizations/regions that are selling them. There are also instances where individuals corner the market on an item(s) and then demand their price point. Sure it's up to the buyer to decide whether they want to spend it. But if someone wants or needs something bad enough, and buying from this entity is the only feasible way, then there is little choice to be had.

And about your Claw going for $5 bucks on eBay jest. Well plenty of Rare Muscles have gone for a $1 or less on eBay due to being overlooked. IE: The purple claw being disputed in this topic. The Puzzle Man SR went for a Buck as well. So it happens if the item isn't specifically showcased. eBay is like that entity that corners the market on Muscle Rares though. It's unlikely to find one otherwise, and thus if properly showcased the value will always remain the same due to demand (probably ever regardless of supply, like SC).

Thanks guys for your tips, crazy ideas, and devious plans on trying to get back from the seller. But Im not going in that route. Whoever contact the seller did the most damage. I think Im done with the seller although it was a dick move from the effer. I wanted the purple claw and paid for it with all the stupid reasons. I was just too impatient. I paid for it. The deals done. Simple as that. Im not regretting it at all.

Hopefully the next rare figure that shows up and someone scores doesnt end up with all the bullshit I went through.
