The "I've been standing like this for three months" part was hilarious, the fight was great (CROSS BOMBER), and then Parthenon appeared and made it stupid.
That's the worst part: until Parthenon became the focus, the chapter was great, from it's wrestling to old-fashion '79-'82 comedy and even interactions with the audience instead of just reaction shots. It's sad that one Choujin would just ruin what was actually perhaps what could have been one of the best chapters of the arc.

Then again, the Robin Special is probably one of the least sensible moves in the entire manga. It's up there with the Kinniku Buster and Muscle Docking, at any rate.

I came to think of something - Isn't the line between performing a Kowloon City Drop and taking a Robin Special very thin?
Then again, the Robin Special is probably one of the least sensible moves in the entire manga. It's up there with the Kinniku Buster and Muscle Docking, at any rate.
Don't forget the Ashura Izuna Drop.
Anyway, I think somehow there are some techniques that have so much in common that they have to use a small slight bit to make it a slight difference from another technique. I guess they just haven't thought too much when they thought it up.

By the way, isn't calling Lou Thesz "one of the greatest wrestlers in history" a lot like calling Sean Connery "one of the greatest spies in history"?

Ugh, yeah, the Ashura Izuna Drop is just horrifying. And let's not forget Megaton King Otoshi.

Depends: it could be a real spy...and you could be forgetting everything else Connery played. (besides, it's not like he wants to be remembered for something like "Zardoz"...then again nothing can describe that movie)

Robin's move is just a Tower Bridge hitting the ropes. Both have bad assed moments in the G1 and G2 animes though.

^Both are different, however. Mantaro throws his opponent into the air, runs to the ropes and then grabs both arms when he hits the opponents back.

True, but besides those little things, they're basically the same.

Considering he had an acting career spanning about 50 years, I thought it was appropriate to pick whatever role he's (arguably) most famous for.Ugh, yeah, the Ashura Izuna Drop is just horrifying. And let's not forget Megaton King Otoshi.

It's 50, trust me. But basically I was just sort of joking myself.

299: Robin Mask is cool for once.

300: Robin Mask realizes a pattern: Warsman only wins when he's in brutal Chojin mode!

I have to question the legality of going "We're not using Meat anymore, we're using Warsman instead" after Meat already started fighting.
Anyhow, with that, volume 26 is complete. Exactly 10 volumes, and 87 chapters remain! The end is finally coming in to view.

No hurry. It's in my contract that I get to take another break whenever TF2 updates, so there probably won't be any more chapters for a week or so.Aauggh. My comp died. I need to install stuff/make sure my programs work before I can get around to updating the site.
EDIT: Don't mind me. I need to transfer the next 10 volumes to another computer, so I'm leaving the link to it here fore myself. http://www.megalopuad.coc/?d=7QAYA2K2

Hey no complaint by me: I'm on a bit of a break too due to some major project at work I have to do now. (though I do want to finish the volume I'm on...even if we're really entering the annoying part of the arc)

6-7 volumes of Team Kinnikuman vs. Team Super Phoenix - I can hardly wait!
Let's not forget the 15-chapter 3-on-3 that comes before that...and all the bullcrap amidst all that and what we're doing now!
We're almost to the end, what an amazing run.
Suck on that, Vizzy.
BTW: who is Vizzy? Well I know Viz sucks with Kinnikuman but I assume it's someone else.
BTW #2: I actually had a bit of time to get another chapter done after all:
Chp. 317: This is how a Choujin coming out of the closet can mentally scar everything regarding the subsequent chapter (thanks a lot, Big Gay Par!): http://mangahelpers..../releases/18329
